:D  HI there my name is Hilary Cohen, I"m 45years old and for most of my life i've been over weight or very over weight , tried most diets some were great and some stupid and even taken "shitty pills" and even ended up in hospital because of that, NOT CLEVER 
nearly 2 years ago I stopped smoking I was a heavy smoker nearly 40cigs a day and i'm very proud that i'm not smoking anymore but  :angry:  since then the weight has just gone up and up and even though i've been trying very hard i cant get to the weight that I need to be..  :huh:
I also have a lot of health problems, high blood pressure, high sugar levels, sinus, asthma, and the worse of all for me is the severe chronic pain i'm in the whole time because of OSTEROARTHROSIS  in my hands and a few other places in my body .  :(  at my age of 45 its crazy and the amount of pain killers..... 
Over the years i've talked about doing the Bariatric Surgery and on and off i've left it . The past few months all diets etc I've had enough I went to the doctor did all the tests had the tests passed and tomorrow morning I'm going to the hospital to see the Dr and hopefully will get a date when I"m going to the the Sheeve  :P
What I hope to get from doing this operation is a better health life and of course to lose my weight once and for all  :)  I'm hoping to meet lots of new people here online and good luck to all of us with our new life
