You look awesome! Congratulations! We have similar stats although you look tall? I'm 5'3" :-/ Do you remember your early stats? I'm 7 weeks post op down 25. I'm not complaining. I just wish it was more, but I may be thinking unrealistically. -
Dr. David Vazquez who works with Dr. Fernando Garcia any one have Surgery by him?
Lrckey0610 replied to Rachel Jacobson's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
I had my surgery at hospital cer. It's brand new. There are portions of it they are still finishing, but it is beautiful, and state of the art. I was impressed with the hospital and the care I received. Dr Garcia and his team are committed to providing a great experience. You can really feel it while you're there. They want you to go home and tell your friends great things so more people will come. The only thing with the hospital is they don't have the cafeteria finished, so your support person will have to eat at one of the 30 or so surrounding restaurants. My husband didn't mind this at all though :-) I can't speak to the coordinator situation because Alma was still there in march when I went. But you have a new coordinator when you get there, on the Mexico side and he is phenomenal. -
@@JamieLogical I think I'd welcome this problem.. I've seen your photo updates and think your shape is cute. Very feminine. Although until you walk a mile ya know :-D Well, I've had plastics, so I've "cheated". My boobs are 100% fake.... I was flat as a board before that. Lol well I'm hoping to "cheat" as soon as I reach goal

So I'm looking for some reassurance I guess. I have lost 51 pounds total. 30 pre op and 21 since my surgery. I'm happy with my loss although I still have a long way to go. I know that my body will never go back to the same body I had pre 3 children and 100 pounds gained, but my body just looks weird right now. I'm losing from everywhere except my belly. My body looks disproportionate. I'm just wondering if anyone else had this happen and if things ever even out?

Well before kids and weight gain I carried my weight in my butt and hips. But because of diabetes and having babies I gained a lot of belly fat :-/ I knew it wouldn't go back exactly to that body shape, but hoped it would be similar. Your answer gives me hope though :-) Thank you! Awesome :-) Fingers crossed

Yesterday at taco bell I had a grilled chicken taco supreme with no shell ( in a bowl) add guacamole. Was delicious! And sometimes on busy days you have no choice!

Surgery in Mexico-live in Central Fl
Lrckey0610 replied to Jinean's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
I had my surgery in Mexico, I also live in central Florida but I had the sleeve done -
I may be skinned alive and hanged for saying this, but IF you have followed your diet to a tee, and continue to do so tomorrow, I doubt a sensible (but delicious) dinner and sliver of cake is going to completely ruin all your hard work. Just don't stuff yourself or over do it. But that's just my opinion.

Does everyone meet their protein goal every day?

Congrats on your weight loss! Can't wait to be there. What is this ticker everyone is talking about?

Omg you too?! I've been down all day today because I cleaned my house. I think it was the vacuum that did it to me though. Pulled a muscle in my right side.

If you went to mexico for your gastric sleeve surgery, who was your doctor and how much did it cost?
Lrckey0610 replied to BackToBeautiful's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
I also had my surgery with Garcia, and he is exceptional. The entire staff was on top of their game. They are very service oriented and take the patient care very seriously. Dr Garcia is humble and kind as well as knowledgeable. His anesthesiologist is also top notch. You will not regret choosing him. :-) Good luck! -

Dr Garcia is operating in a new hospital. It's called hospital cer. Brand spanking new. It's beautiful. I just had my surgery there on March 3rd. I've had 3 surgeries here in the states and I have to say that the care with Dr garcia and his entire team was impeccable. -

March 3rd here :-) -
Hi, I am wondering if anyone started full liquids at 5 days post op? I have had no problems with my sleeve so far and I'm drinking like it's going out of style, but I'm tired of clear liquids. And I'm so hungry. I just want to try a yogurt or protein shake.

Oh me too :-) Losing my mind here -
@@livingstone I share your thoughts and fears to a tee. I'm 5 days post op. I know we'll get through this. Hard to see the forest through the trees right now because it feels so far away. Every day just ticks away so slowly. I realize how much my life and happiness has revolved around food now. I miss my old friend and I grieve it.

I had my surgery March 3rd and well I'm starving already! My stomach feels so empty and grumbly. I'm drinking like crazy but I can't stop thinking about food :-/ I was hoping I wouldn't feel hungry for a bit but that's just not the case for me. Anyone else feel hungry so soon?

Yeah I feel like what seems like hunger pains too. Just trying my best to ignore them because there's nothing I can do about it |-O. I'm not going to risk a leak. I'm sure I'll get through it, just glad I'm not the only one. So many people say they feel no hunger at first. Thought I was the first tried and true fatty lol
