I've been posting in a few places because I'd really like to hang out with any other pre and post ops in the area for support, advice, and just to make friends who can relate. Hi Everyone! I'm in West Palm Beach (Royal Palm)...sleeved 5/29/15. I was thinking of starting a MeetUp group if there's enough interest in the area that could meet once a week to talk to others who can relate, get advice, encouragement, and just to hang out. This would be open to everyone, pre and post surgery. I'm trying to get an idea of how many would be interested, so let me know. Thanks!

Hi All, I'm new here and have my surgery scheduled for 2/20. I'm having second thoughts and starting to wonder if I should reschedule for a later date because of two International work trips in the following months...one 5 day trip to UK (I'm in Florida) only 3 weeks after surgery in mid-March, and then a 10 day trip to S. Africa mid-April (20+ hours of travel each way). Although my surgery coordinator told me it will be perfectly fine to travel,l I'm worried about feeling sick while I'm so far away or figuring out what to eat and energy levels. I'd really love some advice on this and thoughts on if I should try to reschedule surgery until May or if I should be good to go. Thanks so much.
