  1. Are you bound up? Have you had any health changes? If no, my guess is you've been ignoring the signs of weight creeping back--I've been there! I'm 5 years out and 140# down. I weigh twice a day and allow 2 pounds up or down. More than that for more than 3 days and it's diet time. Journal--honestly. Where do you keep your food? Have you fallen back into old habits? Best wishes for you to find the power to beat the beast.
  2. Agreed, just don't eat it. It's easier to say no in the store than at home. Once you step back into old habits, it is harder to kick them. You have been given a powerful tool to battle weight, but if you use it improperly, it won't help much. Like trying to cut down a tree without firing up the chainsaw. WLS is a chainsaw, you have to power it up and keep it in good order or it won't get the job done very well.

Jack links jerky bites post op

I lived on Jack Link Jerky, but didn't discover it until about 6 months out. That and (weirdly) frozen Lima beans, LOL
  4. Oh spellcheck fun: psychological hunger, although psychosocial could fit too. And I try to "plan" healthy meals
  5. Have you journaled and checked in about "head hunger"? I am five years out, 140# gone and no physical hunger sensations ever. I battle head hunger though. I'm "hungry" when I'm at my desk, when I'm physically weary, when I'm stressed, when I'm bored and when I'm distracted. I can be uncomfortably full and yet be "starving" I've also learned that it's not just psychosocial hunger. Thinking about food, like trying to an healthy meals, can trigger head hunger. The game doesn't change, I just have a better tool to use to beat the enemy.
