Anyone in sixties getting hot flashes? What is going on? Any suggestions on what could help slow them down or stop them?

Anyone have recommendations for good Protein bars that are low in carbs? I've been using Quest because it has low "net" carbs. Now I read that carbs are carbs and net carbs have actually not been proven. Any thoughts and suggestions.

All of the sudden my hair is coming out just as predicted. I've tried shelf stuff but still coming out. I'm so good on eating well and taking all my Vitamin. I take Biotin but still coming out. Anyone have any tips and how long this will last? I need to get my hair colored and trimmed but I cancelled until I know it won't cause more harm. Any information and sharing of experiences would be very helpful.

I am power walking 3-4 miles a day and when I get back I have done a Protein drink or bar. Gained 3 pounds all the sudden. Not going to follow the fitpal to add more calories in.

I'm 3 going on 4 months. Eat salad all the time. No problems at all.

I found eating quite a bit of onion, green pepper and tomato fresh in a salad just was too much for me. I am 2 months out on the gastric sleeve. Most things don't seem to bother me and I forget to test eating in a small amount first. Trouble is the diarhea continues several times before I get it to stop. Anyone else have that problem?

Try buying the 2 0z Pocket Protein. You can order online if you can't find. Gives you a great boost of energy. -
My hairdresser did my 2 color process last week at my 7 week mark. No problems. I am not having any hair loss before or after. Hope this helps.

I break out in a sweat for a few minutes. Never had that before surgery except when I was exercising! Get cool but I can deal with that. -
Gastric Sleeve cured my urinary problems, back problems and constant gas. I'm 6 weeks out and feel so good.

I'm 6 weeks and will be 7 next week. Followed my Dr to get at least 60gm of Protein and 64 oz Water. Lost 37 pounds so far and only one poop episode. I take B12 tablets once a day and feel great! The best part is I am 67. I'm going to gym 3-4 times a week and walking. I wish I'd loose faster and get discouraged about that but I think the doctor and dietician I picked are the key and they are rock stars!! Good luck fellow sleevers. -

I've lost 40 pounds but I get these hot flashes and trust me it's not menopause. What causes this? I didn't have before the surgery.

I had the sleeve surgery 1 month ago and Dr. Bobby was my doctor. I had the surgery in Rancho Mirage at Eisenhower Hospital. I feel great and I can't say enough about Dr. Bobby or his staff.
