How did I get to the easy place? By letting go of worrying about weight loss. I ate like I was supposed to -without thinking, without gorging, just enjoyed the food I had. When I finally stopped counting calories and thinking I wanted whole pizzas and so on - I started losing weight. Food became not so important. My work and my family became more important, and I found a hobby to concentrate on. Putting something above eating is the key.
I also had a mother in law with dementia. Our stress level was tough so I can identify - and sorry for your loss. Take this opportunity to get on track - make the focus all about YOU now, get selfish, get thin, get pretty, get angry and make yourself the best thing that ever happened! Sometimes we give too much of ourselves and forget about US. It's time to be selfish, ladies and gentlemen. We have to get healthy and as a perk - look fabulous.
Don't ever get down about it. Take the challenge and turn into something special.

Wow. YOu look terrific. I just got banded 11/13 so I am just getting started. If I look like you do when I lose my weight I will feel like I have been born again. What an inspiration.
