How is everyone doing 4 years later? Anyone able to maintain? Anyone regain a significant amount back? I’ve regained half my weight. Not proud of it and considering the duendal switch at this point.

I'm on week 6. As much as I was excited to try new food. I'm hating it. You just never know what's going to work for you. I tried mild curry chicken last night. Then had pulled pork today. Neither agreed with me. I just slimmed and dumping. I never thought I'd say it. But now I miss the liquid diet. =(

Oh gosh I have done that a few times before! I didn't know what to call it! I did it when I put pineapple in my smoothie and the first time I try ground beef and cauliflower. When that happens it's like my stomach telling me it's not quite ready for it. If that's sliming, how do you know when you are dumping?

Confession...I drank a diet soda today. I'm fine. No crazy side effects. I really craved it! Ugh! I hope I don't make this a habit. Shame on me
  5. I would be sad if I could not wine taste again too. I'll have to admit that was a fear from my surgery. I guess I will have to make wine more of a special occasion maybe go to seasonal wine tasting events. and you know what, I am okay with that. I've made the choice for a healthier lifestyle and moderation is key thank you all for your comments on this thread it's been very helpful! Tomorrow I start week 5 post op. Down 28lbs!!!

What kind of exercise is everyone doing that is not uncomfortable? I tried to do Pilates yesterday and any kind of crunches are still too painful. Walking is okay. But I want to try something I can do in a workout video

If you like coffee I've found adding sugar free carnation instant Breakfast French vanilla to folgers vanilla biscotti coffee goes down really nice. I use unflavored nectar Protein when I cook. Add it to your creamy Soups or eggs. You can't taste anything and it gives you 10grams per scoop. I hope that helps

The stall is over!!! Woo hoo!????
  9. What kind of wine do you find goes down easy?
  10. Well guys and gals I tested the waters last night, 4 weeks post op. My drink was vodka and cranberry. I poured half a shot, lots of ice, and cranberry. It took me an hour to drink it and it got me nice and mellow. I was a little scared to try it but curiosity was killing me. I wasn't insanely drunk, just a nice little buzz. I might try it again if I'm at a special occasion. However, I didn't find the drink as exciting as I used to. It was okay, nothing to brag about. I'm actually more of a Jameson and ginger beer kind of gal. But I'm staying away from the fizzy stuff. I'll give ya an update when I try some tasty wine (if I still find it tasty)
