I wanted to loss weight before my son started Kindergarten, now he is graduating from high school this year (2015).  This has been the story of my weight loss for most of my life.  Nothing ever seemed to work.  I had been seeing a weight loss doctor for almost a year when I decided to look into Gastric Bypass.  I had to go to a nutrition class for 6 weeks then went to see the Gastric Bypass Dr.  Once I was seen by the surgeon I was approved in a week and I had my surgery date.  The whole process for me went very quick.  I knew it was meant to be because everything was so easy.  I had my surgery on October 16, 2014 and woke up feeling fine.  I had some pain from what they said was gas that they put in you in my chest and shoulder but no pain in my stomach.  Unfortunately the surgery was good but my stomach swelled up inside and no fluid would go down.  So I had to stay for 4 extra days till the swelling went down and I could get the water then protein down. Once I was home I had some trouble drinking enough water because I wasn't hungry or thirsty but felt great.  It is now 2015 and I'm so excited for this new beginning of my life and exciting journey.
