I had an employee send a picture to me about an hour ago of me hosting a work event this time last year. I think I was in shock as I finally see how much weight I have lost already by what I looked like last year. It was a great lift to the day that it is working! I hope everyone is having these kinds of wonderful shocks!!

Has anyone taken Advil this far out from surgery? It's what I have on hand, but I know right after surgery we couldn't take any Ibuprofen. I wondered if just taking 2 until I can get Tylenol would reek havoc on me. Thanks for any help!!

Good advice about the fiber. I thought it might be because I haven't been able to get all my water in.

I should start on soft foods next week. What has everyone found to be the best foods to start with?

Monday was one month since surgery and I am down 42 lbs. It's starting to slow. For those of you who are having an issue with protein drinks have you tried them with Almond Milk? I can't do regular milk right now without some nausea setting in. Almond milk is great. A couple times a week I add 1 TBS peanut butter for added protein as I don't think I am getting it all in. Also, I am so thirsty all of the time...I just want to gulp down a big glass of ice cold water. I was able to wear a dress to work today that I have never been able to fit into and that made me feel so awesome. It is baby steps!! Deep water aerobics I think are going to be a tremendous help too not to stall.

As of this morning I am 30lbs. down. So happy!! I am glad to see (well, not glad) that others are having problems sipping the liquids and getting it all in. I know I am not getting all of my fluids. I am so afraid of gulping and getting sick. Tomorrow, I will be able to fully get in the water, so can start water aerobics. I am happy for all of us!!

Had my sleeve surgery on January 5th. Developed hypoxia, so had to spend 4 days in the hospital. Doing fine now and have lost 22 lbs.
