Hi. ..I'm 45 in a few weeks and about 50 kilos overweight. i have at times of my life done well with weight loss but after some years seem to come back to where i was plus some. My bad genetic family history worries me as i am so overweight but thankfully still not suffering major health issues. Am having troubles work feet but not surprising considering my weight. Over the last 5 years i have really struggled and have come to the conclusion that i need help before my health completely deteriorates. My family history of diabetes, arthritis, heart disease and cancer is hanging over my head. I am really worried that if i don't take control of my life and my health right now then the future will not be very bright. I have a 6 year old daughter that deserves a happy future with a healthy and happy active mother. I have been researching gastric sleeve surgery for some months now and and fairly sure that i will go ahead with the process in the next few months. i think it will be the right tool for me and help me regain control of my life for myself and for my family. I am on this site to inform myself and gain in education in the process and learn all there is to know so that i'm the best prepared to achieve the best outcome for the future. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated thank you.Michelle
