I am about an hour and a half north of Edmonton. Had my sleeve done in Mexicali in December and have not had one minute of regret. Best medical experience I have ever had by far. Just about 80 pounds gone.

I thought I would feel that way too but now I am just hoping there will come a day that I don't have to wear my wool socks to bed .

Hi I am in northern Alberta and looking for sleevers around me to support and advice when I am stuck . I got my sleeve in December of 2014 .70 some pounds down and looking forward to losing more. Does anyone else in Alberta have advice the always cold problem?

Can someone reassure me that I will someday be warm again. I live in northern Alberta so being cold is way of life for 7 months of the year but not this cold. I am 4 months post op and down 60 pounds but I still have lots of "insulation" on my body and yet I am sooo cold. Will I ever be warm again?

@@jacileggs I am in a little tiny village called Fort Assiniboine. About an hour and a half north west of Edmonton and I still have ice and snow on my front yard . I guess being cold is something I will just have to get used to. If this is the worst downfall to the sleeve I will happily accept it.

So happy to see people on here that had their sleeves done the same time as me(december 9th) I have lost 48 pounds. So far it has been so easy except for the water thing. I too am a gulper and loved to stand in front of the water cooler and guzzle 1 or 2 big glasses. I did that once post op and just about threw up. The pain was incredible. But I just forgot that I can't do that any more.So now my little sippy cup is never far from my side. I need to constantly hydrate. This procedure is by far the best decision I ever made, besides marrying my husband. My daughter in law is actually having it done today in Mexico. My only regret is not doing it 20 years earlier. I do get frustrated though, thinking the weight should be falling off faster than it is. Anyone else feel that way?
