    I just had gastric bypass December 18th 2014, I found out that there is no support groups local. Looking for a serious mentor/ exercise buddy. Thanks for reading my post.

    suepon1 those are awesome tips. I am new here I had my gastric bypass December 18th, there are no local support groups in my area, everyone that said they were going to support me are not, in fact my boyfriend is doing everything he can to sabotage me, I was so happy to find this website.

    I had my bypass December 18th. The friends I thought would be the most supportive are the least. I am really shocked to see how people react to me having a healthy lifestyle. I have already been ridiculed even by so called " church members".
