I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Williams and his office. I think they feel you have made up your mind when you contact them that you aare ready to proceed. Have you checked the requirements of your insurance. My would not pay anything and it was 22,000 for the lap band. I am down 48 pounds since Dec. 14th. I am very happy with the decision I made. I did not want my insides rearranged. I started at 314. You will gt ffollowup visits free for 1 year. I go in every month for check and adjustment. You ar required to have bloodwork every 6 months. I get one of my other drs. to order it so it is covered by my insurance. I then take the results to him. I had my surgury at North Fulton Regional. They have a Bariatrics department that helps you through the whole thing. They even go with you to the operating room. They have been very nice and check in with me every month. Dr. Williams also works out of Emory at Johns Creek. Dr. Williams often will do a program at night for those that are interested in surgery. Check the Emory at Johns Creek Hospitals web site to see if you can find the next program. You caan meet him that way. He is a very caring dr. Let me know if there is anything I can heelp you with.
