Hi ladies I'm also in NYC and I'm 27 going on 28 in a few months. I'm almost 2 years out and it's a constant struggle but we can all get through this together.

Any info on your process with insurance is great I have emblem health so went with that but if you are in NY and have insurance please list your requirements and process since the day you first started. Hi, I'm new here and I have read a few boards and I see everyone is beyond helpful in some way. I'm 25 years old and live in Westchester, NY. I went for my seminar December 10, 2014 And have my first appointment with the surgeon January 23☺️was wondering for those in NY with emblem health how long after your first appointment did you get a date? What are the pre surgical requirements that need to be completed beforehand? Thanks so much!!

Hello everyone! I'm 25 years old female located in NY. I started my journey in December of 2014 with the seminar, had 3 months supervised weight visits, psych evaluation, medical clearance and finally got the date of my surgery about a week ago. I called today to follow u up with my medical clearance which I got and got told my insurance approved!! I'm elated!! ☺️☺️ I'm currently starting a vlog on YouTube as well as a blog and hopefully a podcast about my weight loss journey. Hey everyone! If you were my sleeve brother or sister CONGRATS! WE MADE IT TO THE LOSERS BENCH!! If your date was close to July 13th... CONGRATS YOU MADE IT TO THE LOSERS BENCH LOLZ. I want everyone to check in let me know how you are doing with liquids, food, weight loss or gain. Are you exercising? Any pictures? Me so far I had lost 27lbs 2 week post op! My next appointment is tomorrow where I'll find out if I lost anymore. I still don't see a difference but my husband does. I get in all my liquids and I'm on soft foods which isn't to bad. I refuse to do puréed is that bad? Lolz

Has anyone had him as their surgeon? I've heard from a few people he's really good and I looked him up online as well. Just wanted more feedback if possible.

Was 345 now I'm 312 I'm down 34lbs! Was sleeved July 13,2015.

Omg @@Remix that's amazing!! I'm happy for you. Yea puréed stage sucks but keep getting that protein in with Greek yogurt to.

It's going well for me. I go for my month checkup tomorrow so far I was down 27lbs as of week 1 1/2 so hopefully I lost more. I'm easily getting all my liquids. How are you?

Maybe try a little less? Sometimes we can eat more of one thing and less of others. @

My doc said 1 month... Mind you I'm 25 and married we got to week 2 and I cracked Lolz it was amazing

I had mines Monday at montifiore in the Bronx. Where are u having yours?Had surgery Monday went home yesterday and my main issue with pain was from gas. I walk and it's not helping to much like it should be.
