Dede, how did your procedures go?I had TT and liposuction on 12/20 and I love it! I will get arm lift in Dec of 2017, my doc and I prefer to split it up. This allows less stress on body and I cannot afford to be down a full month, because of my job and kids. I'm taking 3wks off for tummy tuck. I have swelling but all of the hanging skin is gone...I'm in "ahhhhhh"
-
I'm having to on 12/20 skin removal was approved through insurance and I'm paying for difference to get tt. I will get my arms done next yr, I too could not do both surgeries at same time, especially having little ones at home. Can you advise more on pillows and anything that I might need for post tt?

Best Plastic Surgeons in Mexico?
bvenegas replied to Alex Brecher's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
I'm scheduled for arm lift in tj in 12/22. I met with 2 doctors: Dr Victor Gutierrez and Dr cardenas. This was a hard choice since I really think I'm in good hands with both, but I chose Dr Gutierrez since he also specialized in arms, that was an advantage I think he has. I plan on getting lower body lift next year and I might chose Dr cardenas for that procedure, not sure but for now that's how I feel. I just see she does more of the time tucks and those sort of procedures, but I'm not 100% on that yet. I would highly recommend both of these doctors. -

Hi June sleevers, how's everyone doing? I had my 9 mnth check up and I am at 173, Sw 284. I'm still good with my eating mostly protein as veggies. I look great and feel fabulous! I asked my Dr about skin removal if it's covered by insurance and he said stomach area is but not arms. So the stomach would not b a tummy tuck only skin removal but I could pay the difference, requirement is to loose min 100 lb which I have. So at my 1 yr well go over all that. So excited.

Yes, I can eat more but I try not to by weighing my food safety I know how much fits. I went free music 3.0 Oz to 3.3 because my NUT said to go from 800 calories to 900-1000? Not healthy to eat so little. I still lose weight just very slow. But yes, I too am scared to gain weight so I'm very careful. Sw:285,current 179 yes saggy arms and stomach but I look great. Got my groove back

Hi June sleevers, where's everyone at? CW 179 finally getting out of the 180's. After I went down from 200 it's so much slower to loose "slowly but surely"

HELP! Cant stop eating!
bvenegas replied to nn1985's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
try going back to basics, go over all the information that the nut gave you at the beginning. Example, my weakness if Snacks at night, so she suggested that i make a rule that if i'm going to eat at night its only at the dinner table. However, i only have healthy foods, so if i'm going to snack its ok because its all Protein. I stick to the 30/20/30 rule so that should help too. 7 months after my sleeve i still try not to eat starches, STICK TO PROTEIN SO THAT YOU STAY FULL LONGER. -
let's do it: start w: 284Surgery w:270 Current w:189

I down to 194 and loving it, size 14. Yes hair loss but no buggy compared to pros like being able to keep up with 2 yr old and roll around with him. Also, I'm able to be in the picture instead of always taking them . Feel so much more confident and sexy again.

I start my mornings with a cup of coffee and premier Protein shake from costco (30/20/30 rule of corse). Maybe snack in between of hand full of peanuts and a turkey patty for lunch. Maybe another snack of peanuts before dinner and for dinner whatever I make for the family minus the carbs. So if I make spaghetti with meatballs just meatballs with sauce and cheese. A snack at night of a slice of ham as 1/2 slice of cheese. -

We're on the same boat, i'm happy too. 4 months sleeved and 74 lb down. I have stalls but I know its normal and I dont stress over it becuase I know the process is different for everyone and weight will continue to come off. I have my confidence back and I'm just trying to keep up with fitting into all my old cloths. It seems like each month I bring out the box and I get to pull out old cloths (pre kids). Life is good and I cant complain. keep up the good work sleevers! My first goal is 199, then i can set my second goal. The only issues i've had issome hair loss (thank god i had a lot of hair pre sleeve), i think low blood pressure (normal for sleevers due to weight loss), and constipation. Still not complaining just sharing. Have a good day ya'll -
I'm down 70 lb total. My surgery dark was 6/1 and starting weight 285, current 215. I too have the stalls a lot but after a week or two bam I drop at least 5 lb. I was doing tread mill at home 2x per wk but Dr sugg. Going to gym so I'm starting today. I don't get too frustrated with stalls because eating wise I follow my regimen so it's just my body. I'm so happy and got my confidence back.
