Having surgery on Wednesday and the only support I have is from my sis & kids. My mom breaks my heart on how cruel she could be. Idk how I'm gonna get thru recovery. I live with her.

@@NewgirlfromMd It's normal. I started my period the day after my surgery and was feeling extra sluggish. Light headed and no energy. I'm 4 days post op & finally feeling a Lil better. Hope you feel better soon

@@FortKnox78 or anyone else. I had my surgery on Wednesday & I'm always cold now. My hands feel like ice. Is this normal?

I'm getting so nervous/ scared. Feel alone for some reason

That's awesome @ Michelle Rynsai! My surgery is at 7:30 Wednesday morning! I only dropped 11 pounds on my 10 day pre-op diet. Good luck!

I want to be able to get off bp meds etc. I'm sorry about your husband not being able to be there. As long as your mom is there. Happy surgery to you and keep in touch : )

@@timeforme2015 yes I'm thinking about how nice it will be to be off bp meds. I want to be healthy and happy. I'm over this 10 day liquid diet. I'm so hungry

@@Bonawanabfree thank you for all the info and I'm going to start getting prepared for my pre-op and surgery. On March 8th I'll have my food funeral. Just want to be healthy /happy. Even tho I've lost almost 40 pounds on .y own. My bp seems to go up and down. That stresses me out

Did the endoscopy hurt? Do they put you to sleep? Does everyone have to have one of those before surgery?

Did anyone have issues with high blood pressure before surgery? I can't seem to get my controlled so my doctor gave me higher dose. I seem to get nervous when I'm getting my blood pressure taken. I hope it goes down

That's awesome Cupcake! My surgery was approved today! I'm doing everything to lower my bp n sugar n so far blood sugar is good. BP still Lil high.

Really? You were still able to have surgery with your bp being high? How did you know your bp was going up. I had to get a higher dose cause my bp wasn't going down. I'm praying the more I lose weight and after surgery it goes down. I'm tired of feeling tired

I checked my bp yesterday and it was 168 over 80 then I calmed down and relaxed and went down to 146/70. So I don't know if it's cause I get anxious/ nervous. I take meds for my blood sugar where so far it's been good but yesterday I had a dizzy spell and my heart was beating fast so idk if it went down or what. It gave me anxiety so I had to take an anxiety pill. I don't know if it's stress or what but in tired of feeling like crap. I want to feel good and healthy like I once did
