So far we are getting along GREAT! It hasn't had any temper tantrums! Just remember to walk!! I didn't walk tons just paced back in forth in the house but kept moving as often as I could. Pain is really nothing to worry about cause it's really not there!

Great Idea! I get my weigh in on the 6th. I refuse to get on a scale kick like I have in the past, so I'm planning on just doing my weigh ins at the dr's office when I go.

Hi, I'm home yippie! My new life had really begun! Don't worry Loretta (Starr). and Melissa about my hospital stay. I was still high on morphine when he came and and said we'd talk about going home tomorrow. I asked the nurse and she said he likes to keep all his patients 2 days. It was fine with me. Last ight around 8 I wanted to escape, but then I woke up at 2 and took some pain medicine and this morning he was in the room before 10 and said everything is good, go home, take a shower and see you next week. LOL David the PA said please take a shower....LOL.. So I'm home I ate a TBLS of cottage cheese. Garry just mixed me a protien shake and I'm good as can be. A suggestion for you Melissa as far as your bed goes, for when you go home. If you can get the hospital bed and it isn't a big deal getting to you, I would go for it. If not, go buy one of those foam mattress toppers, (mine is king size and it's perfect) fold it in half and then roll it into a triangle, you'll be just fine. I am so excited about my band I ca't tell you! And I'm so excited to be home! My offer is still on for movies and jello! Thank you all so much for the prayers. I had complete peace on Monday morning. And now I'm just so excited I could scream. Off to the couch for a movie/nap. Thank you all for being here for me.

Are you a closet bandster? & Do you regret your decision?

How about a bad tooth ache! Good luck with that happypsychrn! I wish I had kept it quiet although I have not had any bad feedback. I Don't want my neighbors knowing, but most of my Sunday School class knows and a hand few of others. I'm telling people that I don't want to know that I've had girlie surgery, they never ask for details with that one! -
How exciting and wonderful!!!

Best wishes to you!

Hi, I spoke with her yesterday afternoon. She was frustrated they turned her morphine off in the middle of the night! Go figure! She wanted to leave but she had to wait to finish eating and then go to the BR. So I'm not sure if she's home yet or not. I'm hanging in there, but exhausted! Yesterday I really pushed myself and today I can't eep my eyes open. We have caompany that came in yesterday and they are great. I went to grocery store with my daughter and then we went to someones house for "dinner" last night. Now I'm home alone for a few hours and going back to bed. I really think I pushed it to much yesterday, although I thought I'd be up and running by now My only real complaint is the iching of the large insision. Should I put some ointment on it? I think I know why I stayed 2 nights. Most everyone I've heard has only had 5 insisions I have 6 there was alot of scar tissue from my gall blatter surgery mad it tougher on the doc and I guess tougher on me. night night...

She called me a few minutes ago. I had t laugh cause I guess I sounded the same way on Monday! She wanted me to tell you all that everything went well. She's a little nervous about the night staff at CMC, they haven't been as attentive as the day shift. I told her to call her daughter, who had just left, and get her to get on there backs. So hopefully she will. So thats it for now. Have a good night. di

This time I know I will and it will last. I took pictures Sunday night before the surgery on Monday. I want to also take pictures every month to SEE the change.
