OH how nuts it was shopping!! I went to Kohls and got another pair of pants, much needed. Checkout was no problem getting into the shopping center and a spot was no problem. BUT LEAVING!! It took me at least 30 minutes to leave the parking lot!!! I decided that I'm not shopping on a Saturday before Christmas ever again! I guess I decided a lot today, no mre baking, no more shopping...lol...I better go to bed before I cut something else that I enjoy doing out of my life. Kathy, I'll send you that picture in 2 minutes...

OH HOW do you do it Betty?!!! I baked cookies today I have a horrible cold and cough I can't taste a thing. BUT THE COOKIE DOUGH! OH I just had to have that!!! What an idiot I can be!! I can't even taste anything but I eat the cookie dough! So I just told my daughter that as of today I am not baking another thing! I'm done! I have no dough willpower....lol.....no dough......And to top it off I have no clue as to if the baked products even taste good!!! Cause I can't taste them! Our Lapband group meet today and we had a really nice day. The incredible shrinking women!!! Everyone looked great. We are now stealing NJ's chat idea and were going to try it. You guys are so great with everyone's name!!! I can barely remember my own!!! Betty, we have a lab who is the sweetest and a cat. But a little over a year ago we have to put our cocker/beagle asleep. Maggie was a lap dog but only from October through March. It was like she knew when those months were and she refused to sit on my lap April-September. I really miss her. Sandy, our lab, thinks she's a lap dog, and she really wants to be one. She's so sweet. Maggie changed when we got Sandy so I'm kind of afraid to get a puppy I would hate for Sandy to be sad. Our NC local Lapband group is getting together in an hour! AHH I don't have my gift yet! I love getting together. I always take a picture so I'll let cha'll know when it's up so you can check us out. WTG, I got my first 1cc on Tuesday, the past 2 days have been liquid. Today is mushies and I just had some mashed potatoes and I feel real full. I've been to chicken to take any pills. When do you start regular foods?

I got my first fill on Tuesday. I am on mushies today and tomorrow. You are still very sollen give yourself time to heal. When you start getting hungry and eating almost as much as you used to you will want a fill.

Hey guys, I have been crazy ad haven't been able to keep up with ya'll (NC talk) Tomorrow AM is my first fill then I have a major full day I'll be away from home from 7-9 yuk long day and I have a real bad cough. OH I made # 2 on the top 20 losers at curves fro the year!!! I'm a bit nervous about having the fill, but I think I'm ready for it. I did eat some junky fat foods tonight. So now it's liquid time for the next few days. I probably won't be back here until Wednesday.....

You know how little we eat anyway. Well who wants plastic in there food!!! I made myself the Stoffers chicken Enchilada Suisa fr diner tonight. My bits aren't that bag but they are not tinny either. As I'm eating this I see what looks like an onion. I did think that was kind of wierd. I pulled the onion out only to find out that it was a THICKER piece of plastic. I have no idea if it was my nerves or not but I still feel like I have something stuck in my throat. I tried drinking hot tea, Water and some crackers. It feels better, but still there. I called Stoffers and guess what they are sending me more coupons for more plastic!! I could care less about the free meals! I'm just conserned about my band and how this piece of plastic is going to go through!!!!

I'm so so sorry you feel so bad. I hear you and I bet most of us if not all of us have flet the same way. Weather you have the band or not, you are trying to help your self by being here on this site. You have tons of girl friends here who understand and hurt at times the way you do. It is real hard to try to FIT IN to an existing group and being heavy makes it harder. At least thats what we think. I am sure that your are a beautiful person both inside and out. No matter what size we are if we love our selfs and think positive about ourselves everything looks brighter. It sounds to me like you may want to talk to your doc about anti-depressants. I have been on them for a hundred yrs it seems like. You also may want to talk to a counsler. The right one can help alot. I STRONGLY recommend a book written by Shad Helmstedder called "WHAT TO SAY WHEN YOU TALK TO YOUR SELF" This is a life chnging book for many people. It has been out for a while, so you may need to special order it. It comes in paper back. I hope that I have given you a little hope and not a lecture. Hang in there and God Bless

HI gang, I've been crazy busy these last few days. Haven't had time to read on here much but by glancing it sounds like everyone is cold and happy. I'm coming to NJ on the 27th it will be my usual whilwin trip, trying to run all over the state and see everyone! But I am looking forward to it. My sisters are flying in tomorrow for my BD! I'm so excited one of them I haven't seen since February. Stay warm!

More good news! They were able to do the surgery through his rectom. This is what Kim was hoping for. She hasn't gotten any sleep and it will be a long few days, so feel free to give her a call or stop by. Lets keep praying. He will be on liquids for 48 hours them food and then he has to go to the BR to make sure everything is ok.

Go for it!! I can say that only because I went on a cruise not even 3 weeks out and I lost 5 1/2 pounds. I felt great and was able to try food I wwould have never spent money on at home.
