I was wondering if anyone in Ohio has this insurance and how long it took to get approved. I have done my 6 month of diet supervised visitations lost almost 60 pounds and I'm just waiting for my patient advocate to submit all the forms. Also did they pay for the Optifast before surgery? What my patient advocate told me was 6 months supervise dietitian with adequate weight loss and a doctor supervising that dietitian and adequate weight loss. They have forms that need to be signed every month from the pcp and the dietitian.

Thats a great idea blondiebabs. I will ask on Wed. And jenbaby75 the 2 little ones sleep under the covers with me. My big dog she weighs 80 pounds she will sleep next to me. Thank you both. That is my big pro lem right now so ready to do this.

Does anybody have any animals that they worry, about I have 3 dogs and two of them are small and they like to climb on top of me. I know obviously its not a good idea after surgery but how long do you think I should keep them off of me?

Hello everyone. I have been dieting for almost 6 months now. My insurance said I had to have a dietitian for 6 months January 1st I changed insurance companies and now they say only 4 months I'm going to my last dietitian appointment and then everything gets submitted to the insurance company. My case manager at the hospital said I should have my surgery by the end of February. I am 44 years old and have realized the weight just does not come off like it used to. I have struggled with my demons forever and now it is time to take care of them and push them away forever. My highest weight I have ever been which was when I started this journey six months ago was 492 I am now down to 443. What is the most weight that people have lost in 6 months a year out? I am really getting excited to start a new journey!!
