Hi Cher, I have not been on this post in months. Iam so teribly dissapointed. In me in the band, inall the above. I paid my md up front for the cost of the surg, fills and support. I am not happy with him. I do not feel any support, knowlege, or help is there for me. I don't want to go back to him. Its been sence Nov 07 sence my surg, and its been a complete failure. I don't want to go back to JUST DRINKING protien shakes. I live in Ventura Ca, I guess I need to find a good group here thats close, and shel out the money for a different dr. Do you have any suggestions for me??? Feeling hopeless Tx

:mad:I have had it. I have had nothing but problems with my lap band, and the md and his office!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1st he sewed the port to a nerve,,,, it hurt so bad for days. Took me an hour to roll over in bed on night. Office is so snotty and acts like your putting them out. Can't get in to see my doc. need to make an appointment1 month ahead of time. Reguardless of whats happening. And I have lost all of 5lbs sence Nov!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last time I went into his office I had to wait 2 hr for a fill. I was sp angry, I told him and he said well I'm buzy(I had walked past his office while he was having a fun conversation with his old office person, after I had waited an hour to see him) buzy my ass. I told him that was unexceptable, I could of had a root cannal done in that period of time. I have decided to go back on weight watchers, actually I have lost 5 lb in the past week. problem is, last night I ate one of the chicken dinners, and I got a piece of chicken stuck. I vomited and vomited. finally after about 5 hr I was able to sip a tiny bit of h20. I woke up with a burning in my chest. I can drink onloy sips of water and than throw it up. Called my md and hes out of town, referred me to another md, an hour away, and guess what hes out of town too!!! So they said go to the ER, which of course I will have to pay for , which I have already paid for all my fills when I originally paid the $10,000. for the surg package. Yep I'm so angry!!!! I called another lap band surg, he too is out of town but his office nurse at least gave me some suggestions what to do!! My office just said nothing to do, go to the ER if you think its an emergency! I am SO DARN MAD I HAD THIS SURG, EVER MET THIS DR!!!!! Thanks for listening.

:help:Hi I am new to this board. I am up late because the pain is so bad I can't sleep. I had my band placed Nov1 07. I woke up with this pain and it has only gotten somewhat better. I couldn't turn on either side for almost 3 weeks. Now I SOMETIMES can. I have this burning pain from my portsite, feels like under my ribs around my back. It is a hot sharp pain. It is worse when I am sitting. I am not having heartburn, and am able to eat ok. The md told me the port is sutured to the fashia, and there are alot of nerve endings there. I can hardly stand this pain... PLEASE ANYONE!!!!!! help!!!!
