So I'm finding I'm much more prone to motion sickness (3 and a half weeks post-op). Anyone else experience this, and does it get better?

And the deep breathes will actually help it heal quicker. So will walking around. Walk as much as you can make yourself. -

Hey Tiffany (my names Tiffany too, by the way ). I hope things have improved for you over the past few days! I'm two and a half weeks post-op from my roux-en-y bypass. I promise you it gets better every day. I practically don't have any pain at all anymore. I was really discouraged in the beginning as well and wondered what in the world I'd done to myself, but now my life is returning to normal and I'm down 24.2 pounds! If you ever need someone to talk to, feel free to message me, or I can give you my email if you'd like hang in there! -
female only Just had bypass, now suffering during "time of month"
tgarner6 posted a topic in The Gals' Room
Hello all. I just had surgery on the fifth of this month, so I'm still in the liquid stage of the diet (soon I can move on to soft foods! Yay!). I just started my period yesterday, and my cramps are unbearable. This has happened to me before, albeit not often, and the only thing that has ever helped has been Advil. Obviously I can't take that anymore, but the Tylenol I've been taking really hasn't helped at all. I'm wondering if anyone else has run across this problem, and if so (or even if not) if anyone has suggestions to help me ease this pain. Because it's 4:00AM and I can't sleep it's so bad -
I'm two and a half weeks post op. Anyone else break out like crazy at this point? I haven't had acne like this for almost a decade! I'm fairly certain there's nothing to be done about it, just looking for an explanation

Why Did You Choose Your Specific Type of Weight Loss Surgery?
tgarner6 replied to Alex Brecher's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I chose the bypass because it was the one with the most research and proven results. I also had multiple friends who got the same one. I also wanted one that would make it harder for me to gain back the weight! (Even though I am changing the way I eat and choices I make)
