    How much have you got to lose? I was 229, now 224 and 5'3, hoping to get to 140 eventually :-) I prefer the American way if using lbs as I can fool myself I'm not as heavy as I thought! Lol

    I feel ok actually... Not really nervous or anything, more worried about my mum looking after my kids for 2 nights :-) I hate this pre op diet tho! :-) Yes self funding, I paid my bill yesterday ! Yikes! Are you self funding? :-)

    Yes I'm in the horrible pre op diet :-( I'm bloody hungry!! :-( I was lucky that I only have to do 10 dats of it. It's got to be less than 1000 calories a day and no more than 100g carbs. My teeth feel fury!! How are you doing? :-)

    Oh no allyray, that's terrible for you! That's my biggest worry, the other mothers at school finding out. I've been the subject of school gate gossip for the last 12 months and it's horrible, I don't want the same mean people to talk about me for this too. My dad is a real gossip and can never keep a secret... And he often collects my kids for me. I may have to tell him a little fib.....

    Hi everyone, I've been lurking in here for some time... I've got my op date for 27th feb, and an now counting down the days!! I'm excited and very scared... I've got to pay for the op this week, so no backing out once I've done that! I'm 5'3 and am 229 at the mo, need to do a 10 day pre op so I'm already trying to get ready for that. Any advice or tips greatly appreciated :-)
