    I chose VSG because I knew going in I did not want RNY. I refused to bypass part of my normal functioning body. The risks of malabsoprtion were to great. I originally went in thinking I would get the LapBand as I had never heard of VSG, but once my Dr told me about it I was in. It is the best decision I could have ever made for myself.
