I was gonna ask the same question. How soon can we start exercising? And does it have to be only treadmill and walks? Or can we use an elliptical trainer? I loooovvvvveee the elliptical trainer a billion times over treadmill.... I love the hop! ???? And I love swimming... But will surely wait for the incisions to heal. My surgery will be most likely end of February, surgeon hasn't given me a date as yet.

Lol... Funny symbol! Outta curiousty, how many sleevers have had their gallbladder removed? I m considering not only getting the sleeve, but to ask the surgeon to remove the gallbladder. Reason: When you have drastic weight loss the gallbladder tends to grown stones in it, causes lots of pain and indigestion problems. If I have to get it removed, might as well get it done now once and for all. What do my fellow sleevers think?

Yeah my doctor agreed to doing that... He realizes eventually we may have to undergo Cholecystectomy (surgical gallbladder removal). I excited to get that removed too ????

I m quite curious what's in everybody's ????????❓ I guess let's all share our lists ???? we can all winsome 1. My phone???? 2. iPad 3. A small cup (like having my own sippy cup) 4. Loose tees ????and pajamas???? (I feel it's best to have a short tee, in case for the doctor to examine th incisions) 4. Comfortable footwear (flipflops) 5. My own pillow (something on to hold on to on a bumpy ride back home) 6. Gas X strips ☑️ (most important EVER as I have been told) 7. Ibuprofen dissolvable tablets (incase post op swallowing is tough, i want to experience like zero pain ????) 8. Lip balm ???? 9. Moisturizing lotion 10. Breath mints (changes the taste of mouth and Ofcourse for the family and friends who visit) 11. Phone and iPad Charger ???????? 12. Video camera ???? (for bloggers, I intend to record and click every bit of my experience to share) .... That's all I could I get after racking my brains.... If you guys have a similar list or something I m missing on mine, let's share!!!

@inner girl ... Yeah you are right need to check with my surgeon on that Need to add robe to my list now.... I so wish I sleep thru all the pain and once I m up painless and happy???? How quickly where you made to walk? I have heard in some cases once you are wide awake within 40 mins ???? Oh I m dreading the gas shoulder pain... I guess this surgery is like a test for the body, you learn so much about your own anatomy. How the body reacts to general anesthesia?

More than nervous I m extremely excited about it.... Like super excited... But there are times when I get nervous thinking of the post op pain ???? will I be able to handle it? Have you guys decided on what Protein shake will be your 'kryptonite' post surgery? I have ordered some gas x strips, apparently that's like a MUST have item post op.

Oh why you feeling frustrated? You are done with the toughest part.... Oh what I would give to be on the other side of the tunnel. Please take care of yourself... You are gonna come thru.... Share your experience.

Hi guys! This support group is amazing, we have a huge huge group of only friends and supporters... Exchanging msgs, encouraging each other and a whole lot of love ???? (wifi love) I m from India, I will be getting sleeved in Feb haven't discussed the date as yet with my surgeon. I m more excited and not so nervous, reading everybody's experience has just made me more and more sure that YES!!! I m getting this done for sure. I have struggled with obesity all my life, never in my life have I seen me thin or just overweight.... Always morbid obesity, approaching my 30's and all I m reminded of life long struggle of never being able to stick to a diet or lose the excess weight. I feel so supported here in the group, ppl out there just to encourage you, help you, clear your apprehensions.... All in all a crazy positive energy in here... Hope we can help each other embark this journey and motivated. And February sleevers? India sleevers? Let's share out doctors appointments, gas problems, Multivitamin intake ???? , hospital bag content... lets just talk ????
