It's 2 days post op and I feel soooo much sore and the gas doesn't seem to leave me alone.... I have not been drinking as per my needs, I feel like if I sip more I will vomit and I can't sip frequently either.... It's incredibly difficult to get anything inside of me.... Can you suggest what needs to be done here?

Get sleeved in a hour... Scared as hell!!!!! Please pray.

As nerve racking as it is, there is a lot of piece in me. It's like I m finally getting my fav car or my fav toy....just that this new toy will hurt a lot ???????? Lollll I started my liquid diet at 245 pounds Will finally weigh myself after a week just before surgery, will definitely update you guys about my weight. Have a long way to go 100 pounds to cover, since we are all in this together we can definitely do it!!! Guys wish me luck and prayers????

Congratulations Ninnifer for your big day and small number ???? HW - 248 GW - 143 SW - can't say now, I m on the liquid diet since the last 4 days, Surgery on 12th March, big excitement all my scary feelings have faded away.... Can't wait for the new life start. Yesterday I took some pre op pics.

I m schedule for the same on 12th March so yayyy You should have started with your pre-op diet your diet will be less than a week and yes isopure ready to drink flavors are quite nice and chocolate and coffee and banana flavors are good when it comes to the Protein shakes. H. Pylori is bad enough considering you are already on medication and antibiotics, and your surgeon is ok with it... I personally think you should stress yourself on it. And just go with what your doctor says. I m sure you will do well... Goodluck!

One love You have done so great for yourself, after 100 pounds lost I would be doing a cart wheel, you are just in a bad place mentally... I hope you can look beyond your Weight and loose skin.... Life is wonderful and God has been so kind to you to give you this opportunity to drop 100 pounds... Maybe it's the stall that's bothering you... Speak to your surgeon he may suggest you some better doctors or some psych evaluations which will really help you thru... And you Ofcourse you can always share your story here with us.... We are all ears ???????????????? OregonDaisy.... I hope your back infection gets better, working out is not a big deal as long as you control what you eat... Take much better car of your health and diet... And once you are completely 100% ok you can start with exercising.... Stressing out about weight will just delay your getting healthy process... Wow!!! You look like from 'the text book of gastric sleeve' you look amazing and your hair looks great, if you hadn't mentioned I would I have even commented saying 'lovely hair' now i gotta add... Baxter14 Yes I have started the liquid diet... Today was my 1st day, felt like the last day of my life ???? such a bad day with the hunger pangs and headache... Biggest mistake was to not have Protein shakes! I say on your liquid diet Rule 1: must have Protein shake, that's your only source of energy!!!! It will suffix you and give you strength, I felt pretty much wasted without the protein shake. I m glad day one is over, hopefully day 2 should put me in better perspective. Yes, the thought???? am I doing the right thing or not.... ????????

Guys can I admit to something???? I m totally petrified of the surgery bit... Keeping a strong face infront of the family... But I m a total wuss???? I have wanted this for over 5 years now, finally been thinking of it since 1 year and now it's actually happening and I'm excited, petrified, terrified.... Fearified???? Yesterday I have my upper GI endoscopy and it went fine since I was knocked out. But once I woke up, I was in sooooo much discomfort/pain... I vomited twice and tried to sleep thru the pain, the pain is 50% less today but it still persists. Started my liquid diet today, getting sleeved on 12th March mixed feelings , I m all over the place.... Any encouraging words and strength imparting messages?!?!?!

Anybody with a PCOS (polycystic ovaries syndrome) I have had that complain since I initially got my period. And since the last 15 yrs I have had irregular and OCP dependent periods. I wonder if the sleeve will get me rid of my PCOS and make things regular. Anyone else sharing the same?

Finally an appointment with my surgeon on 4th March, I hope it just takes on from there asap. And I can be on the other side ???? discussing weight loss.

Gofigure and ninnifer It's nice to know how much we share in common ???? More than anything, the 30th birthday just becomes a huge incentive to get things moving in our lives. I don't have any kids, it worries me that whenever I do get pregnant the weight will just come crawling back? Anyone else with the same fear? ????

I turn 30 this year in 5 months from now, hoping to have this VSG and change everything about myself this year. It's a big BIG BHHIGGG change I m heading for a huge step for a drastic change. Wish me luck.
