I'm in Seattle, just starting this process! I see my NUT for my second appt in about a week. I have to do 6 months supervised diet. I wish time would pass more quickly!! I'm with Dr. Harris at Puget Sound Bariatrics - anyone else? -

Check out https://www.nashuanutrition.com/store/protein-powders/protein-powder-samples-1-serving.html I ordered a ton of single serving packs to try various brands/flavors. Everyone says taste buds will change after surgery, so may need to go through another round of testing when I am finally sleeved. -

I take a day off about every 10 days or two weeks. I think it's good to shake things up as long as I get right back to business the next day. Super bowl Sunday here I come!!! : ) -

@@mandi99336 I totally understand!! I am in the first month of a 6 month supervised diet required by my insurance. I don't know how I'm going to stand waiting 6 months or more! Being on this forum every day helps and reading as many success stories as I can find. Good luck! -

I've chosen to tell my husband and my best friend. That's it. For work and everyone else, I am telling them I am getting a hernia repair - 100% true. The rest of it just isn't any one else's business. -

Hi all - just curious what everyone drinks for Protein drinks. I'm pre-op but stockpiling Protein Drinks to try ahead of time. I picked up Premier Protein on sale at costco and just ordered Isopure from GNC. What do you all recommend?

I had my first nutritionist appt on January 5th. I have to do 6th monthly visits with her before I can submit for insurance approval. I've been using the myfitnesspal ap and had really good luck with it. -
