I'm still on liquids i start purees on the 20 of this month i got a Lil depressed because no weight was coming off the protein messed with my stomach they told me use rice protein and i have found out to be disgusting even with adding fruit like the nut said. I pray for a change soon

I had surgery on 3/23 and I'm still home as jamielogical said bring on liquids only your tired my nurse just left and asked me if i can take just one more week off I'm really considering it.

@@stacy458 girl i not on purees yet no yogurt only liquids to the 15th the nurse is coming 2morrow and i can't wait to see her there has to be a better way i cried like a baby 3 days ago my poor husband didn't know what to do he rubbed my stomach until i fell asleep

@@stacy458 water and broth is the only thing that doesn't send me to the bathroom i had 4 sips of protein within a 30mintue time period 4th sip straight to the bathroom diarrhea I'M SO DISGUSTED RIGHT NOW an icy in the bathroom

I'm convinced my sleeve doesn't like me i hear everyone say there ok i follow the rules sip sip sip and the only thing that works for me is broth and water uggh

@jill_lcardi i do understand your pain today is the first day i feel like me. I want eggs and i hate eggs lol. I really can't wait to get to the pureed due to the protein isn't working for me I've tried 3 different kinds and i get the same results BATHROOM! !! i pray for some relief we knew this would not be easy but we hoped it would. Hang in there i did take a bite out of a french frie i chewed got the flavor then spit it out lol lol

@@heav85 i know your pain I'm 13days post op the scale stayed the same until yesterday and it was only 2lbs I'm having problems getting fluids in i get about 32oz of water in daily the protein doesn't work for me 4 sips of the protein and I'm in the bathroom with diarrhea. Im waiting for my surgeon to get back to me. It's upsetting that u follow the guidelines and it don't work for you. Keep your head up I am.

Ok I'm 7days post op doing pretty good my incisions are healing THEY ITCH OMG i still have soreness i believe I'm doing pretty good on my liquids i got thru 2 16.9oz bottles of water 2 cups of broth 1 1/2 protein shakes yesterday I'm striving for a Lil more today. I'm still feeling a Lil tired but I'm not napping off and on again so that's good. My biggest problem is how i lay at night to sleep

Shockingly since on the pre op i haven't been hungry just missed certain foods....

Ok March sleevers I'm at work and my co worker pulls me to the side and says please don't take offense to this but your suit today is super big today i love the suit it always looks great on you but today u look like you lost a good 15 20 pounds are you dieting? I'm only on pre op i haven't weighed myself if feels great that someone notice the weight loss ????

Has anyone had there surgery with a slight cold???

I am very happy for you @@FortKnox78 my surgery is Monday and it seems very far away i haven't had any problems with the liquid diet just fighting a cold that's trying to come. My surgeon told me to drink Thera flu i hope it works don't to push surgery back ???? question your allowed to drink b4 surgery? I was told nothing after midnight the day b4

@ Hello I am currently on my Liquid diet also my surgery is scheduled for March 23rd. My surgeon told me to be prepared to be out for at least 2 weeks. He stated everyone is different and it really depends on what kind of work you do and if you feel up to it. I was told to be prepared to stay at least 2 to 3 nights. I can have visitors i was told but not sure i will want any, I have to wait to see how I am feeling. My husband will be there until I'm out and he knows I'm alright. Now your goal bladder i had mines removed about 10 years ago so you really should anticipate at least 3 weeks recovery and due to the goal bladder surgery which is a must and not an elective you should not have a problem with with disability if you choose to deal with them. My surgeon put the same thing on my FLMA paperwork. Good luck on your surgery

@@LaLa Lady & @@purrfctangel you will be ok ladies I'm on day 4 started friday first 2 days i thought i was gonna catch a case and be in handcuffs lol it has gotten better now when a hunger urge start i eat a carrot or drink some broth good luck ladies

@fortknow78 thanks for that I am 3 days in also my surgery is the 23rd. You got my screaming over here my co worker asked me if i was ok. I am not hungry for the most part its a mind over matter situation i woke up smelling PIZZA YES PIZZA. I am extremely nervous so I understand.

@@Lrckey0610 my surgeon called me today and pushed my date up to the 23rd from the 30th i told him about my family dinner Saturday night he told me have my dinner and go right back to my shakes and Happy Birthday
