How was your experience with the office of Vanderbilt Weight Loss Clinic?

How was the pre-op diet for you? I will start mine on Wednesday and I am a little bit anxious about. I know I can do it but it does feel a bit overwhelming.

Danna, You say you bought Peppermint tea. Was there any particular reason. Just curious if it makes nausea go away or something like that. CH

I am having the surgery in December at Vanderbilt and Dr. Holzman is doing mine. He has come highly recommended. I do like the support groups at Centennial that I went to a couple of weeks ago.

I have gained since I decided to have the surgery as well. I cant get a grasp on why I am thinking and then eating like that. I guess probably NOT thinking is the problem. -

I am also a teacher. Seems like there are several of us who teach. My surgery is Dec 13th. I am excited and trying to get ready at home. Cleaning out the pantry and refrigerator was this weekends task. It has been very informational and inspiring to read many posts on this site. I feel lucky to be doing this with such great support at home and having outlets like this. Cheers to us for going through this life changing journey.
