Surgery date 02/02/2015 and need a mentor and buddies
Susan33 replied to GAWildKat's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
WildKat happy for you that you got the date. I'm still waiting for mine. I'm sure the diet will be hard and might get sick of it fast but look what it is for. Just see yourself weighing less, being more active and enjoying life more. I hope it all works out for you. I know it will as long as you want it,to. -

Walking has always been the safest easiest workout for me -

It may ght be weird to have a chat being about going piop byt I say it's fun. E all have something in common that its easier to chat with someone who you'll never meet compates to someone who you know/see

I've heard coffee is ok just not the creamer and sugar.

Momma I feel the same way...Excuses are out the window around the cornee somewhere. I moved to apts a few weeks ago. They have dog park so its easier to walk dogs, close school to pick my kidsbup from, stores within walking distance, #1 THEY HAVE A GYM OPWN 24/7. I can even bring my kids in there. All these facts and thanks to all the users on this site inspired me enough to make a week long meal plan for b,l,d,s.

Creeps at the gym

Faith I would tell the manager or atleast closest worker about them. They might already have complaints against them. You are there to work out not to get hit on/harassed. -
I'm really happy to have met you on here.

Lol I don't remember the name of the surgery(part of my tbi). They just put something down my throat to look at my insides. So it really wasn't serious at all. I just want to be healthy and beable to be more active with my kids. I have no energy to do what they want or go where they want. As a single mom I need to be there for them more actively. Likewise, I think we all need someone to talk/chat with about things, specially about surgery and lifestyle changes.

Or even start the 1100 calorie diet now....I figure it won't hurt
-
Not exactly sure. I got the upper surgery done a few weeks ago. Surgeon said they will send results to insurance company and wait for the gb surgery to be approved or not. When they get the approval of it the surgery date will be made. I thought there was a few other things I needed to do though. Like see a psychologist, meetings and so on. My next appt is this next Monday so I'll know more then. I just wonder if it would be a healthy/right choice to do the liquid diet before I'm told to. Maybe for just a few days at a time. What do you think.

You can go to surgeon 1st but will in time need a letter from doc saying surgery is medically needed.

Wow. I hope the best for you
