Hello bikrchik thanks for the info. I am in the St Louis area and this stall is driving me crazy. I am afraid that the procedure may not work for me. I am burning 400 calories at least per day in the gym and yet the s ale is going up and I know I am not taking in more than 1000 calories and i am certain that most days I am way under that. I will increase my protein this week to see if that helps. Thank you again. -

@@lynneanne thanks for the feedback. I am following my doctors orders to the letter. I am grateful that he is not as conservative and has such an impeccable history. I was cleared to use the elliptical and walk at my first week check up appointment. I think that you are right when you mention that I am likely in the first few week stall situation that others mention on the site. I was glad to read about this stall yesterday as it gave me renewed confidence that I am not just doomed to be fat! lol...thanks again and good luck with your surgery! -

Hey ladies thanks for your input. I can only say that I love crackers and the doctor has them on the list so I have enjoyed they are only 19 carbs for every seven crackers which is not bad and I can never eat seven at a time I usually only have 7 to 10 in a day. The Chicken Salad has chicken, mayo, relish. I had tilapia and yogurt with my chicken salad for the day yesterday and I lost a pound. I think I am right in line for the stall as someone else said unfortunately this may be my problem. I will post updates here keep me in your weight loss prayers! -

Insurance Approval...How long does it take?
time4change15 posted a topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hello all! I am new to this site and I just got my papers submitted to insurance last week. How long did it take to get the approval after your documents were submitted? Does anyone have UMR or State employee insurance that can shed some light on this process? -

time4change15 replied to time4change15's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thank you @champagne301...I really hope it is less than 30 days and no more documents are needed. I called them and they told me they were taking about 30 days right now to complete pre-authorizations. Oh well its out of my hands now.... Good luck with your surgery! I would love to hear how your post-op is going. I hope to be a few weeks at most behind you for my procedure. -
I am in the same boat....in terms of waiting on approval...my documents were just submitted last week but I am the worst when it comes to being patient. I am ready to go! I can't get a surgery date until my insurance approves my claim. This is the worst part so far...I will pray for urgent responses and patience for all of us! lol
