    I am 8 months post op and I feel afraid to eat,, I don't want to gain weight back!!!

    I am 9 months post op .. How many calories should I be eating? How much protein , carbs and fats? I know at this stage we are the control because the surgery has done all it is going to do. I want to loose 60 more pounds.. How do I do this? I am 5'1" and weigh 189. Help please!!!

    Food Fighter I thought I remembered you .. My surgery was March 30, 2015!! Yours was Mach also right . I was 300 pounds the day if surgery .. I want to get down to 130 and maintain!!!

    Flew to Alaska and had much of the belt left and did not use an extension!! Also walked up and down the aisle without hitting any of the seats. Had no issues with having enough space in the bathroom!!!!

    Food fighter.. How much food do you eat and what do you eat? I have gotten to where I can eat much every thing,.. How much did you weigh at the day of surgery?

    I was cold for the first few weeks and now I am back to sweating like crazy! The doctor promised to make me cold .. I am still eating!! People look at me like u am having a heart attack. I can't do anything without sweat pouring off of me!!! Please bring on the cool.. I am 8 months post op and still waiting????

    Kim.. You are right the surgery was tuff.. How much have you lost? I have lost 140 but I want to loose 55 more pounds!!!

    Yes.. I can't eat chicken breast but can eat dark meat one day and the next I can't !!!

    I to am having much complications getting my bowel regular and working. I have done mirilax and can't get regulated and Mom gives me a movement but it is constipated ..so I take a extra dose of mom and have water diarrhea. I don't know the answer. I would like to have a regular bowel habit .. Same time everyday with out constipation. If any one gets it figured out please share????

    It gets better,,. In the beginning that is the amount we are supposed to eat .. You will get up to 1/2 a cup

    I am 3wks post gastric bypass. Are we supposed to be drinking protein shakes between our meals?

    I had the diarrhea from the liquid diet. The day of surgery I still had it, on the day of discharge the surgeon recommended Mirlax, I took it until things got going and now I take it every 4days and I am having a BM every day without problems.

    Blashlee.., is your tea decaf??? If not it needs to be .,, I am 3 weeks out and I can not drink water either, the surgeon says this happens to many people and they really don't know why,,,,, it smells like chemicals to me and taste the same way and then when it hits my pouch it feels very Heaney and hurts my pouch.

    I was told to use miralax , I used it every day until I got it going and now I take it every 3 to 4 days.

    He is very proud of my progression, I have lost 20pounds in 2wks and since beginning this journey I have lost a total of 38 pounds???? said he would see me in 6weeks ????????????????

    Rigoflum, how do you throw up? I got some food hung up and it would not come up or go down. Finally after a few hours and sipping watt it slowly went down but the pain was terrible and I still hurt and I am sore

    Not only am I having all these other problems .... I still weigh 10 pounds more than I did when I went into surgery ????

    Everything is going well except for this pain in my left side, it goes under my rib cage and even into by back. I am also having muscle spasms in this are. There are knots all up and down my side. Did anyone else do this? What is causing it and what can I do to make it better?
