If I told you what I've paid for most of my vehicles you would be quite surprised. That 380k truck was $350. I have purchased 2 new vehicles and both were junk! My black dually is the most that I've paid in a long time, 9k in 2012 and we drove it back to Oregon. We bought it in Orlando.

Lets see at my heaviest recorded weight I was 597lbs when I saw my surgeon for the first time in April of 2014. I am pretty sure I was even bigger than that, but I never really touched scales unless I was at the doctors office. The day of the surgery with a pre-surgery diet over that summer and then the two week clear liquid diet before the surgery I had got all the way down to about 463lbs the morning of the surgery. I had my surgery in Dec of 2014, so about 7 months of getting rid of as much weight as I possibly could before the surgery to try and avoid any complications. So far I have gotten down to about 255-265lbs. I have been floating around those same 10lbs for a few weeks now. Goal weight for me is to be at 220-230lbs. So yeah the last 30lbs or so pounds I need to lose have been the most challenging to get rid of so far. With summer coming I had initially wanted to reach that goal by the end of May. I don't know if I will get there, but if I would reach it by Aug 1st. I would be totally stoked. Either way good luck to you. Us over 400lbs people can get great results with this surgery. I have lost more weight in the last year and a half that what I actually weight. To date that number is 332lbs.

Today-- trying on a pair of size 6 pants...down from 24's exactly 8 months post op today.
Here is the funny thing... I knew I'd fit into a 6- and the only pair that they had was on a mannequin. Asked the sales clerk to take them off so I could try them on. She looked at me and tried to talk me out of it- saying they run very small. I repeated to her that I wanted to try them on and she obliged but kept repeating that they wouldn't fit, they run small.
Boom.
(I should add that I WAS wearing baggy clothes when I walked in...but STILL!!!)

Today is my one year surgiversary! 11/17/15 - the day I chose to take my life back and learn to put myself first again. #tbt to both the biggest challenge and best year of my life. I am forever grateful for all of the support I have been given by so many wonderful people in my life - doctors, an amazing nutritionist, counselor, friends, colleagues, students/athletes, and, most importantly, family. Hey y'all!!
Long time, no talk - training for a half marathon and work has been insane lately!
My two year surgiversary was November 20th, and I tried on my old Cotton Ball dress because it was hanging in my closet, lol. (Cotton Ball is a southern cotillion ball - traditional thing with debutantes, etc. - I was 17 when I did it).
Left is from my wedding <3 that dress is a size 28; the one on the right is a size 8 (I'm a 6 generally, but bridal does run small!)

I started at 365/370 and I am 194 right now and I am not quite 17 months from surgery. I expect I will exceed my goal of 180, and I am thinking about changing my goal to 165. I have to see how the next few pounds go.
You lose the fastest in the first 6 months because you are still healing. It is really important during that time to really nail down good habits. Once you are healed you can eat a wider variety of foods and old habits can creep in.
Your sleeve alone will probably get you to about 250, if you really want to lose all the way down well below 200, that is going to be on you and your lifestyle changes.
