Lol. Totally understand! I'm sitting here finishing my yogurt while there is a huge spread of crap!

I think I might have thrush going? I'm 8 days postop and finished my antibiotic yesterday. I waited until yesterday to add drinkable yogurt because my paper said no sugar and low fat yogurt. I couldn't find this anywhere so finally found a low sugar low fat one. Anyways yesterday I noticed the way back of my tongue felt a bit sore and thought oh crap I'm getting sick. Today I noticed my tongue was covered in white and felt weird but it was right after I had my yogurt. Tried with all my might to brush all that crap off and was only able to get a little. Anyone else have this issue?

Thanks!! I've rinsed with diluted peroxide today and if it's still bad on Monday I can call my primary.

Oh Lordy! I am four days post op and haven't had a bm since 2 days before surgery. I Amin the airport miserably waiting for my flight home so I don't want to take anything until I get home. On top of that I started my period early today. Double cramping! Can't wait to get home!

I'm a tricities girl too! I just got mine done on Friday in Mexico with dr Ortiz and I fly home tomorrow night (Monday).

So I had my preop stuff done today (labs, ekg, and nutrition consult). I'm officially down 16 pounds from 22 days of preop diet and am ready to roll for surgery tomorrow!!! Super antsy and want it to be done!!!! The hotel and staff are amazing and their chicken broth is unbelievably yummy!!! Now I get to busy myself with some shopping!

Well I am back at my hotel and feeling better. Still woozy and weak and I feel like a burp air after any drink I do. I'm trying to be so careful but it's still there. Plus I hiccup a couple times after I drink. The dr decided to the X-ray before I left just to make sure I wasn't swollen so much it was causing a structure. I had to do a couple small sips of barium the a large one that totally hurt. But we watched it go through my small tummy and some small intestine. He said all was good and I would repeat it on Monday before I fly home.

I think m about ready to go. My discharge at 7 got pushed because I was vomiting again then at nine we tried again and I made it to the reception are to wait for my shuttle and started vomiting again. The doctor came out and brought me back to my room and said we wait another couple hours and if I'm still sick he will do an X-ray. I'm up and went for a walk and think I'm good now so hopefully back to the hotel I go!

I've got crazy hiccups now. That's a little on ouchy side for sure! I didn't keep it a secret from anyone but I definitely had people telling me not to do it. Just diet and exercise more. Those people obviously didn't understand me. I would tell them I am doing it because it's the best choice for me and I'm happy that that is what works for them.

It really hasn't been bad. I was the first one for today and I've been up walking and sipping water and juice. I did vomit twice after both times they gave me IV pain medicine. It was just toradol not even a narcotic I'm a really weenie with meds though. My throat is sore from tube but nothing bad and one incision is a little sore but still not bad. Oh and didn't have to have a grain. All is easy peasy so far!
