    Cheated postop...concerned

Do not let anyone defer your feelings. You did nothing wrong. No one is perfect and this surgery is a life changing event. Which means it will take time to fully accept the change that is going on. I had the sleeve a week ago and everyday I want to cheat. I haven't and I know that if I do it will hurt. I know your struggle. Take it day by day. Don't give up and begin to accept your new life. U can do it

I am scheduled for 1/29. I'm very nervous. I hear alot positive talk and love it. But I also know there is negative after surgery also. I'm 5ft 11in. 320 pounds. I am told I don't look obese, just big. But I have alot of health issues. Obstructive sleep abnea, Rheumatoid arthritis, swollen ankles and feet, fatty liver. So I really want to have this surgery in 2 weeks. Just need to keep hearing the positive messages.

    Tomorrow is the big day!

@jerseyjules. I am so glad to hear you say that u changed your mind at the last minute. I have 2 weeks to go and day by day I am slowly thinking I don't want to do this. I am overweight and have lots of health issues. But this is a non reversal decision. I'm respect your choice to change ur mind and thanks for being brave enough to tell everyone.

    Tomorrow is the big day!

I love your comments u made @jerseyjules. I have been dealing with the decision to have this surgery for 3 years now. I have been going to bariatric support groups for about 6 months and most of the men there was twice my size. I'm 325. And I have tried all the diets, gyms, pills, etc. But I suffer from obstructive sleep abnea, Rheumatoid arthritis, joint pains, and swelling feet. Been recommended by 3 different doctors to have surgery. And now I'm set to have the sleeve in 2 weeks. I'm extremely nervous. But reading ur comments uplifted me some. Thank u. And good luck to u.

    Pre op fears

My Pre op diet appointment is 1/20. My surgery is 1/29. I am not a food addict I think. More of an emotional eater. But things have been getting better. But from the group therapy session I been going to. I'm fearful of the 1 or 2 ounce meals for 6 months.
