Hey everybody. I'm 12 weeks post op. My surgery was January 13 and I have lost 69 pounds since then. I have a check up tomorrow so I'll dibs out how much I've lost. I feel like I've been doing well with walking and working out. But right now I feel like my cravings are coming back. I can only eat 3oz of food right now. And my stomach can't handle more cause I get sick. I've been keeping up with my protien intake and water. But I am craving crunchy in my life! I want crackers or chips or something. Any suggestions. I heard something about kale chips. I'm do worried because the last thing I want to do its go back to being over 500lbs. Btw on the day I had surgery I was 542lbs. Last doctor's appointment I was 473. So I'll let you know how tomorrow goes. Anyways. Help a sister out.

Ppl in Indianapolis and surrounding areas I say we start a newbie surgery patient cooking class once a month. That way, we make new friends and get healthy together. Maybe we can even work out together

I'm almost three weeks out. It was a rough start for me in the beginning. Had an infection in 1 of my incision so I ended up going back to the emergency room a day after I was discharged. But now I am okay getting around fine. I can walk I can do regular things. It still hurts to bend over, or sneeze, and lie on my side. Hurts terribly. But it's all muscle pain. I'm hoping it's not serious -

Hey doll! I am 22 here. Currently residing in Indiana. Welcome! I'm kind of new Here also. Just had surgery January 13. So I'm pretty fresh off the boat. This is truly a life changing journey and it can be a positive journey if you follow the doctors orders. You'll get to meet some pretty amazing ppl and your eyes will open to many things you never thought before. You will have your ups and downs. But hopefully more ups. I just had my down today when I went through a terrible two hr dumping syndrome session. But afterwards you feel better and you learn lessons. I'm two weeks and three days out and I've already lost 27 pounds. This can be a blessing if you remain strong
