I am still figuring out what I want. I still love shrimp, steak (but it hurts me to eat it) chicken, eggs are ok. I am sort of boring with my meals. I really only get hungry once a day and that is at dinner time. One biggie that I used to love but now don't is water. I used to guzzle water right out of the faucet. Now, the minute amount I have to swallow to take my meds repulses me. I am ok with add-ins. Just no plain water. Sigh. I love the protein drinks. I think I would be fine just drinking them forever (or at least a very long time.) I don't really want to eat most days. I know I should be eating more solids but I just don't want to. I would probably lose faster, huh? My sugar addiction is gone. I don't want most fried foods. (Chips still scream my name but I can walk away.) I am down 70 lbs from my highest weight. My surgery was May 6th. I have tons of energy and don't need as much sleep. I will work until midnight then be ready to get up by 5 or 6 am. Sooo unlike me!!!

I like halibut and catfish. I don't like wet fish. ????

Hi All! I'm 53 and had RNY ON 5/6/15. I am down 50 lbs from my HW. 30 from SW. I am concerned about the wrinkling too. I am using Defining Gel by It Works on my neck to help with neck sag. So far...not too bad. I still have about 90lbs to go though????. . This was this week.

I LOVE Cream of Wheat with this fab little protein powder that I buy from my Dr's office. . There are a lot of other favors and I have not met one that I did not like. They have large jugs but I tried several of these smaller pouches first and the girls from the office brought me over a gift bag with a ton of them. Mmmmmm... Oh, I never liked CoW until after surgery. ???? surgery date: May 6, 2015????????

I had mine this past Wednesday (May 6th). RNY. I honestly did not even open my bag I took to the hospital except for going home clothes and my phone charger. I was released from the hospital about lunchtime on Thursday (28 hours after surgery started). I try to hang on to anesthesia so I only opened both eyes at the same time yesterday morning. ???? I was relatively calm during the preps though I had those scary thoughts. I kept pushing them away and the last thing I remember is my husband kissing me as we made our way down the hall. Prayers for you!! It is a hard journey to be sure but it will be worth it. I had my surgery Wednesday the 6th of May and am excited and nervous and a whole bunch of other emotions I haven't even named yet.

Tomorrow is the big day for me! Here is the million dollar question: how long will this cleanse (mag-cit) have me running?!?

I am a 2nd grade teacher. My surgery is scheduled for May 6th. I am taking the rest of the school year off but plan to go in the last week for just an hour or so to say goodbye to the children. I will work the last workday (the day after the children are out). Hubby and some friends are going to help me pack up my room. Kids' last day is May 21st so I will just be a smidge over 2 weeks out of surgery. EEK!
