Anyone else having surgery in December?

I had my surgery on Dec. 1st; the outcome was good though the surgery to 6 hours. I didn't have gas for the first two days. Trying to get in the protein in. My sleep mask now makes my mouth so dry; so much so the roof of my mouth is very tender. Also, all but 3 of the 23 lbs I lost prior to surgery is back...ugh! I'm praying for us all to have a safe and speedy recovery.

Anyone else having surgery in December?

My date is December 1st as well and I am so excited. I have been on this rollercoaster since March. When I saw the surgeon on October 27 I was expecting a date for sometime in 2016!!! I now have to meet with the surgeon and the anesthesiologist on November 9th to finalize things. Start my 2 weeks liquid diet on November 16. I can't wait!

    Pre-op diet boredom

Hello2brenda, How are things going with you? Have you come up with things to do instead of eating because of boredom. I like to read, but I want so badly to do something I've never done before because of my weight. I think I want to start running when I'm cleared to do so. I'm just beginning this gastric bypass walk. I'm a little excited and scared at the same time. My primary care doctor signed off, passed the physic evaluation, one more pre-op support group to attend (though I plan on attending them post-op as well), seeing the Dietitian-working on the 10lbs pre-surgery loss, waiting to get schedule for sleep study, am scheduled to see the exercise physiologist next week. Then all of my pre-op stuff will be finished. I can't wait to get finished with all the pre-op stuff so that I can get a date for surgery. Sending positive thoughts to you!!!
