  1. I was sleeved on December 30th. I had a little bit of a rough start bc I wasn't really making much urine. They were giving me fluid boluses and as a result I was up 20 lbs when I came home. I am now down 5 lbs since DOS. My postop visit is in about a week. Hope to be on purée foods by then. Over this full liquid stage. My pain and nausea is so much better now.

    Throat or mouth may be sore bc of the tube they place in order to put you on breathing machine.

    My surgeon warned me of emotional turmoil. He said my hormones would be off the hook. A week out today and so far I've been fine. Hang in there!

    Sleeve Recovery Time

    I'm am a week out today. Couldn't imagine going back this week really. I am a critical care nurse working night shift. My job is physically demanding. Hoping to have at least three weeks off.
