My Dr's note tells me decaf with milk. I often forget to buy decaf so I'll drink about 2-3 oz of regular but only 2-3 times a week.

What food do you miss after your weight loss surgery?
atontor replied to raec81's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You should be able to eat chili, just in a limited quantities. I make it all the time with ground chicken and a lot of different brand for protein. I miss shrimp parmigiana, -
Hi, my Dr & nutritionist told me only to have any vitamins on a chewable form only. They don't recommend the gummy version. The chewable absorbs easier into your system. They just recommended using PatchMD. It's a patch you place on your body for 12 hours. Look into it if you like.

Hi. I had those same symptoms of pins and needles to thinking of blood clots. Ask your dr about the bovie pad. I was given a Rx for lidocaine patch and it has helped. I still feel the pain but not as extreme. I'm hoping it gets better over time.Oh gosh! So do I! Good luck with that and I sure will talk to him about that. I also feel like burning at times! Hope we get better ???? I hope so. It's such an uncomfortable feeling

Hi. I been experiencing numbness and sensitivity on my right leg. The pain was so severe I had to go to the ER. They couldn't figure out what was causing it. Luckily I got a hold of my surgeon and was told I'm getting a reaction from the BOVIE PAD they placed on my leg during surgery. The prescribed me a lidocaine patch and it has helped but not I cannot put anything in my pants pockets because the area is so sensitive. I have an upcoming appt to see a neurologist. It's such an annoying pain. I was never told about the pad being used. I've read people have had burns from the pad.

REGRET -doctor Changed goal weight
atontor replied to AWD12368's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Don't let that discourage you. Doctors don't always know what you can accomplish. My doctor told me I would lose 75lbs in 6 months post op. To her surprise I lost 72 lbs in 2 months. You can reach your desired goal in time with hard work and discipline. Make sure you get your protein in
