    8 weeks post-op (sleeve)

Try to start slowly exercising. It will help. I started the gym 4 months after surgery and I can't believe how much it has helped define my results. I added a pic for you to see

My experience was very similar. I was 340 and 320 the day of surgery on 5/29/15. I'm presently 195. Definitely embraced the fitness world going to the gym 4-5 days a week. It was yj best decision of my life. The second pic was this past weekend

    Congrats to all.
  6. I know the feeling well of being a big beer drinker myself and especially watching it football and drinking eating with friends. Unfortunately some of my friends couldn't handle me having surgery and started making comments so I had to cut ties with a few of them. It's a hard decision but at the end of the day the only person that cares about you is the the person in the mirror. We all have to make hard choices but the end result is worth it. I added a pic to show my progress.
  7. My only advice is to keep focused and avoid situations that people will be eating around you.

    Recovery question

You need to rest and at the same time keep moving around the most you can. Everyone is different so you may deal w fatigue or others issues. Be careful with sitting all day working and not getting the things done to properly heal from surgery. I had mine on 5/2015 and I dealt with slot of fatigue I was out for 6 weeks from work.
  9. You all can do it. It's hard but doable. I had my surgery on 5/29/15.

  13. Hi. Food funerals are normal for some. I did it. I was sleeved on 5/29/15 I was nervous about the surgery also seeing my restrictions food. In regards to family I didn't tell them. Only my fiancée knew and my boss . I can honestly say I do eat bread but only the crust part along with homemade chili . My may have a spoon a Pasta from my daughters plate but all of this didn't happen until I was 5 months post op. And definitely no soda. I loved Pepsi but honestly I do not miss it. I drink Water, Powerade zero for flavor and crystal lite mix. And coffee . If you have any questions feel free to ask I added a pic to see the progress. SW 320. CW 195 GW 185

    New York sleevers

Hi. It's normal to wonder if it's the right decision. I know I did the same for a few months. I was scared since I never been in a hospital for anything and the thought of a surgery that was going to change my body. But it was definitely the best decision I've ever made in my life. I was sleeved on 5/29/15. I'm from NYC . I added a recent pic so you can see the changes. Hope to chat again.
