    Dr. James Campbell - Insurance

Paula- I work in surgery in Hot Springs, I'd look in the Little Rock area. I had mine done by Dr. Luttrell and have nothing but good things to say about the people in his office. Call your insurance company first to find out if the procedure is covered - they will know!! Ask if they pay for anything related to Bariatric Surgery.

12 more days until my surgery!ahhhhh!

Your best support will come from your husband!! Mine supported me through it all. Just tell your husband how much you appreciate him everyday!!
  4. Hello.

I've never done the "friends" thing here before. I see by your profile that you're in AZ? We just moved back here to MI from S. CA. DH and I are from here, and lived in CA for 13 years or so. We've been trying to move back since our oldes started school, and finally made it 2 years ago. We're loving it!

When did you have your surgery? What are you eating now? I'm excited and anxious. A little bit worried about the "head hunger" and my DH putting up with me!

  5. I think it's important that you tell those closet to you prior to doing the surgery.....you need their support!! My boss and two other co-workers were all who knew about it (other than a few select immediate family members). I returned to work after an extended weekend of what most thought was Rest & Relaxation. My boss and close co-workers helped me through the first few weeks after surgery. I eventually came out and I am quit proud that I had it done. I am not ashamed and few skinny people realize the impact of being overweight, so why do I care what they think about me now?? I think you have to mentally be at a point of being proud in taking such a drastic measure to change your life in doing the LapBand. There is nothing easy about the Lapband, I will admit I've had to defend myself against critics who have no clue what it entails. So stand up LapBanders and be proud of what you've done. You're life will never be the same!!
