Calories VERSE Exercise
SleekSleever replied to Aube's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Can you please tell me how to get to this setting. I've looked around on the app but I can't find it. -
The guidelines that I was given by my Dr. At my 2 month appt. was to eat between 400-600 calories/day and exercise 5x a week.
-
Thank you!

I'm 10 weeks out. I've lost 40 lbs but stalled the past 2 weeks. I feel your pain. I've bumped up exercise to 5x a week, but it hasn't helped. I've been eating about 500 calories, so maybe I'll try bumping that up too.

I don't see the article.

I'm 5 weeks out. No issues...until tonight. I ate 1 oz halibut and 1 small wedge of avocado. I guess it was too much because I'm absolutely miserable! I feel like food is rising up my esophagus. What can I do???

I've never been able to make myself throw up. I wish I could! -
I'm 3 weeks out of surgery today, and I get dizzy every time I stand up too.

I had mine on the 12th too. I'd love to compare notes with you guys.

February sleevers
SleekSleever replied to Kiwwi1991's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was sleeved on the 12th. I've lost 16 lbs since surgery. 1st week was really tough, but now I feel better every day. I'm starting the puréed stage. I'm scared to try anything because I have trouble getting protein shakes down...especially the thicker ones. I've been getting my protein in every day, but I can never reach my fluid goal. It's tough because I feel like I'm drinking ALL DAY!!! -
Everyone is different brmbrown, but in my opinion, no way! I never could've gone back to work that early! My opinion is a minimum of a week.
-
I leave 2 hours for the protein shakes because sometimes it takes me that long to finish. Too thick. ????

One month post op today
SleekSleever replied to jerseymami1988's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Good for you! You are looking great! I'm 11 days out. Doing ok. This is harder than I thought it would be! -
Truly...I went through the same thing just a few days ago. Give yourself time. The fluids will come as you feel better. I made myself a fluid goal chart on day 4 (by 8am I'd drink 4 oz. between 9-11am Id have a protein shake, eyt) It sounds stupid, but it helped me a lot.
-
I promise you...every day has gotten better!

I'm just a few days ahead of you on this journey. Days 4 and 5 were the hardest for me...and suddenly I started to feel better. I'm not as tired, and I was able to get in all of my protein and liquids yesterday! You can do this!
-
????A shout to the February sleevers ????
SleekSleever replied to ☁️9⃣B????'s topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I was sleeved one week ago today. It's been harder than I thought it would be. It's impossible to get in the 64oz of fluids. I feel like I will be drowning if I take another sip. I'm down 13 lbs so I'm very happy about my progress. Any recommendations for unflavored protein powder that dissolve easily? I'm not having much luck. Everything I've used clumps up. Icky!!! -
Which non flavored protein powders do you suggest?

Day 3 harder than Day 2?
SleekSleever replied to jenntai01's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My day 3 was the hardest too. I'm day 4 today and I feel much better than yesterday. I'm hoping day 5 will be even better!
