So, here I am again. First time around chubbykins and now chubbykinsnomore. After years of obesity and finally getting sick and tired of being sick and tired I decided to have the lap band procedure back in October 2011.
I found minimal success with it and that was partly my fault in terms of still eating some of the same types of food as before but there were also other factors. Unfortunately my physician was not supportive and did not keep track of my adjustments, amounts of cc's added or reduced - making it hard to gauge what was working and what wasn't.
In the end flat out told me that I wasn't going to lose anything else and that I should remove it and have the sleeve. I had him remove it in 10/2014 three years after insertion with my weight flux as follows: started at around 264 lowest reached with band 224 and then after the band was removed went up to 242 in 2 months.
So, now having started back at square one, I found a great nutritionist who then referred me to Dr. Gritsus my current physician with whom I have full confidence and feel fully supported by him and his staff.
My first visit with him was on 12/30/14 and I am now on my way for this new journey to being
