Am I doing it right? ...it has to come off...right? laughing at myself
no1noze replied to MissLiss's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Sorry still figuring out this ap. I may not have been - the issue I've always had is my weight and size don't match. So I'm 230, 5'7.75" and I'm in a size 12. My mom is 5'7" and a size 12 but weighs 190.... I would like my body and weight to get on the same page. Ideally I'd like to not be 200+ pounds anymore -

I'm in the same boat. Sleeved 3-24-15 lost 12 pounds in a week then nothing for 3 weeks and then 7 more pounds and nothing since then. I'm going into 2 months and only 19 pounds- psychic is an understatement. I called the doctor and they say I should lose on average 10lbs/mo. But what am I not doing that these other people have lost 40+ pounds in the same timeline ???? -
My name is Lady Thornton. I am a Chicago native. I started this journey at 267 pounds, on my date of surgery I was 249 pounds. I am currently 230 pounds. I was sleeved March 24, 2015. I am officially seven weeks out and I have only lost 19 pounds since my surgery. what am I missing?

No clue. I've seen it both ways but with the effort I've been putting in I expected more. I lost 11 pounds by two weeks then nothing for 3 weeks.

I had been losing a lot of inches. This week I may not just because of my increased weight training and I think that I am still swollen from Monday's workout. Tomorrow, I work out again and probably will be even more swollen.

Just to give a little bit more detail: I work out five days a week; I meet with a personal trainer three days out of the week; I have followed the bariatric suggested diet to a T (with the exception that I eat more often so that I can get over 1000 cal or I supplement with the protein shakes) I just really don't know what I'm doing wrong or why I haven't lost more than 19 pounds in 20 months.

Looking for a March 24 surgery buddy

More info: Chicago native, 36, blending family of 4 kids, and a mom, tax accountant. Bright bubbly personality but completely freaked out about the speed in which my ordeal is taking. Emotionally all over the place for the next two weeks! -
