Mine was dec 3 and I'm down 70lbs. Still working on the water intake and the protein shakes. Still learning how to eat lol sounds funny but this is the hardest thing to do. My 3 month apt is March 7th so I'll see what they have to say. But I do wanna say congrats to everyone on your accomplishments you've come a long way and this is a great journey for us all -
We are doing a shrimp and crab boil. It will be my first one Im scared and excited at the same time. I know I can't eat everything but to include me my honey decided this would be good because I can eat crab. everyone is happy hope everyone has a great vday!

So Im very curios as to what everybody is eating now that we are 2 months out? I'm still having trouble or shall I say I'm scared to try anything new. Like is anyone eating fruit yet? Protein bars? I'm really not able to keep my shakes down anymore but water is getting easier to drink. I'm excited to hear about your stories.

If anyone has any best if kinds I would really appreciate it. I really need help trying to keep this food down. I would love it if we kept in touch. Any advice on what foods to eat would be amazing im still im the soft food pur. Stage im one month and 16 days out. Thanks in advance Oh yeah I'm 5"6 start weight was 316 now 258lbs.

My dr told me I had to be on clear liquids for 21 days. It my be your tummy is just not ready for something that heavy. I would ask your nutritionists or dr. I stuck to clear broth, jello, crystal light and water protein shakes and sugar free popsicles. I'm a month out now and barely able to eat mushy food. So I resorted back to soups. -

Hello my name is Dorathy. My surgery date was dec 3. My surgery actually went really well. My starting weight was 330 lb my surgery weight was 316 and my current weight is 265 so so far so good 50lbs as of today. Today is exactly one month since my surgery. Some issues im having is water and protein intake and the amount of food I can eat. I'm in stage two on foods but actually prefer eating soups because I had a couple cases of dumping syndrome I think it was that. Either way I got sick with what I ate. Is anyone else having issues? I guess I'm just confused as to what I can eat I go back to work tomorrow and I'm not sure what to even take to eat. Some advice would be great! -
Thank you so much I appreciate the advice. I bought a timer just to kinda remind me to drink water but I never thought about using a smaller cup (shot glass) this just might make it easier I tend to tAke to big of a gulp which hurts sometimes. I will definitely check out your blog. Thanks again for the advice protein is my next challenge, then food im also having problems with determining how much to eat.

So I'm new on here and wanted to join just to get some similar support. Friends and family are great but I think I need people with like/life experiences. My surgery was dec. 3 2014. I am a month post op tomorrow. I have my trials and tribulations and wanted to just reach out and see or get advice on what to look forward to. I'm still having issues with water and protein intake maybe someone could give me some advice on how they manage to get in 80g of protein and 64 oz of water daily. And just any advice in general. I have tons of questions and very little support.
