    Hipp Hipp Horray!!!! I hit 80 lbs down today - right on my bandiversary! I can't wait to go see the doc today for my 1 year checkup . . . and get a SLIGHT unfill . . . he always wants 8 bites as a goal . . . I can't handle 5 at the moment . . . so it's time to take some of my 2.5 cc's away . . . who would have thought a fill from the beginning of October would be getting tighter and tighter now? Hugs to everyone! I expect to see numbers coming up on this poll from everyone soon. Yea US! We did it (and are still works in progress)

    Here we are at our first bandiversary . . . who would have ever believed it??? Post your numbers - post your pictures - give us your NSVs and SVs . . . shout it from the rooftops!

    Very cool Karri! I bought 2 rings last year right after surgery which I could bearly get on my pinky fingers - they are finally loose - but still to tight to move over to my ring fingers - I keep trying though - one of these days I'll be able to do it!

    WOW Chris! Amazing what you have accomplished . . . GREAT to hear success stories! And what a cool bandiversary gift to yourself! Good for you! I'm still hobbling around with a bum hip most the time - but I CAN hobble this year without a cane! Best of everything to you!

    I know Fanny! That's why I didn't do the post last month . . . I figured people weren't interested anymore . . .but Shirley straightened me out . . . and did it for us - YEA! Maybe at the year anniversary they will chime in . . .we can hope so :blink:

    It would be GREAT to get an update on everyone! I'm assuming things have been great and they have just moved on - but it's always nice to hear from them.

    Oh Steph . . . I don't blame you at ALL for waiting! You are phenomonal (sp) . . . and I applaud you loudly! Who would have EVER thought we'd be where we are now last year at this time! While some of us are almost AT goal . . . some of us have a ways to go . . .but I'm still lovin' it!

    Have a great cruise this time Shirly . .. where are you off to? And Fanny . . . and tell us more about this new guy! How COOL for you!

    Lachia . . . I know exactly how you feel . . .and I'm FINALLY (I think) getting my head used to the fact that I can't eat "normal" anymore. After a day of travel, and my only option being McDonalds . . . I made myself order a regular cheeseburger . . and thought "oh I can eat the bun on this" . . . HA . . . NOT!!!!! I nibbled 1/2 the burger down . . . and then had to stop . . . that was my limit . . . but at least I'm finally realizing I need to order the small burger . . . I don't need/can't eat a whopper . . . but my head still wants it. We just have to keep on keeping ourselves on track as much as possible. I like sitting at the table too . . . but I move all the food away from me when I'm done - or I'll start grazing . . . and I sure don't need to do that . . . we've worked too hard to get where we are . . and we're still working on it. It is just going to take time . . and more time and more time . . . :thumbup:

    Michelle . . .you're doing great! It's different for everyone - and I went through almost 3 months of getting no where it seemed . . . so I just would have to start the next day all over and do my best. No matter what the loss . . . it is still a loss from where you were last year! My scale would have been up without this band - so I'm happy no matter what! Hang in there and keep up the great work!

    I'm so glad your insurance will take care of the hernia and the plastics! I'm also SO HAPPY I had the surgery when I did . . . because our insurance changed . . . and where we never had deductibles before . . . we sure do now . . . and then 10% of stuff up to another $1,500 . . . I would not have been able to do this at all! I was sick with an intestinal bacteria the beginning of Sept - and the blood work and xrays and tests cost me almost $1,000 . . . this is killing me! I still don't know if I'm going to get zapped for the cost of my fill . . . sure hope not!
