Well the best thing I did was walk 5+ miles at the US Open a couple weeks ago .. . I would never have made it to the first hole last year - even using a cane! and I FELT GREAT afterwards! ON the down side . . .I still don't make the best choices .. . which is why my weight is going no where right now . . . and even though I'm just about 60 lbs down . .. I'm still not down many sizes in clothing . . . I WAS able to wear a 2X (BEARLY) shirt on Friday when our office did it's community service . . . but I'll tell you . . .it was white with maroon lettering . . .and I had my D and DIL and me stretching it so it didn't look like it was sprayed on . . . but the point is - I've worked at this job 18 years, and this is the FIRST time I could wear a company shirt! Wahoo! Chris

Sometimes the threads get really long .. .so I'm just going to meander into a new one . . . Morning all . . . today is a "new day" for me . . . my daughter is graduated . . . omg how proud she was (and I am!) Now she wants that doctorate hood . . . so her Quest continues . . . my son's family is still in my house . . . but the DL is on some second interviews .. . and today my "semi" significant other is coming back to town after being gone almost a year . . . not really sure how I'm feeling about this . . . I've played this game for 4 years (he lives in Seattle but comes to San Diego for 6-8 month shifts every year). I'm not sure if my attitude is irritation because of the noncommitment - or irritation because I'm becoming more selfish or irritation because I'm becoming more confident . . . gee . . . irritation seems to be a theme here . . . lol . . .anyway . . . we shall see. He knows I'm less then enthusiastic so we shall see . . . . . Have a great day everyone! I get to be the person at work handing out tickets for the US Open today . . . so far partners and clients only . . . then they will open up for the managers . . . and by then, only the tickets for today will be left lol.

I got my hospital bill breakdown yesterday (2-22). My total bill was $37,044, the discounted amount was $23,897 so the total the insurance had to pay was $13,147. Good grief! That doesn't include the doctor. He had told us that if we were self pay it would be $17,000. I'm assuming my "prostheses" is my actual band . . . cost $9,885, with an insurance payment of $3,508 after discount. Then today I get another breakdown that says they can't submit payment until they have the provider's name and address . . . OMG . . . they've already approved all this . . . IDIOTS

I count my weight from my highest too Fanny . . . I lost it, I count it . . . not a problem . .and there is no right or wrong answer!

There is never enough change in a day! And my doctor is happy with 3-4 lbs a MONTH . . . UGHHHHH . . BUT . . .I finally got a second fill of .5 for a grand total of 2.0 in my 10 cc band . . . woopie . . .maybe things will look better tomorrow!

Hot Dog Cerrin! Way to go! you are doing great I would wait for my anniversary date too to post my results . . . (except I was bad this month so it won't matter lol) I go for a fill (I think) on Wednesday . . . maybe 1 cc or .5 cc . . .I've only got 1.5 from 1 fill now . . .but that will probably do me . . . I'm tighter in the mornings . . . Monica . . .if you can only eat soft things, I'd ask my doc about that . . . maybe you are to tight? I can't really say because I haven't been there - but that was my first thought.

Here is a new poll suggested by Katiebug - with instructions! Weight Loss Percentage Formula: Divide the weight loss by the starting weight and multiply the answer by 100. Ex: Starting weight = 200, pounds lost = 5 5/200 = .025 .025*100 = 2.5%
