Well I had an unfill . . . took out .5 so now I'm back to 2.0 in my 10 cc band - BUT . . . I am off cholesteral meds for a 3 month trial! That is the last daily med I was still on! On the down side, I call my PCP to talk about my bloodwork - and found out she is leaving NEXT WEEK . . . and now I have to find a new one :tongue2: I also changed my goal weight to something more realistic than the dream of 150 . . . at my age and for the length of time I've had all this weight - it seemed reasonable - and I can always go past it!

Hipp Hipp Horray!!!! I hit 80 lbs down today - right on my bandiversary! I can't wait to go see the doc today for my 1 year checkup . . . and get a SLIGHT unfill . . . he always wants 8 bites as a goal . . . I can't handle 5 at the moment . . . so it's time to take some of my 2.5 cc's away . . . who would have thought a fill from the beginning of October would be getting tighter and tighter now? Hugs to everyone! I expect to see numbers coming up on this poll from everyone soon. Yea US! We did it (and are still works in progress)

Very cool Karri! I bought 2 rings last year right after surgery which I could bearly get on my pinky fingers - they are finally loose - but still to tight to move over to my ring fingers - I keep trying though - one of these days I'll be able to do it! Chris

That article really hits home . . .I'm nowhere near thin yet .. . but the reaction I had to pictures from 2 years ago holding my grandson in the hospital were enough to make me cringe . . . unbelievable! Thanks for sharing! Chris

I know Fanny! That's why I didn't do the post last month . . . I figured people weren't interested anymore . . .but Shirley straightened me out . . . and did it for us - YEA! Maybe at the year anniversary they will chime in . . .we can hope so It would be GREAT to get an update on everyone! Lachia . . . I know exactly how you feel . . .and I'm FINALLY (I think) getting my head used to the fact that I can't eat "normal" anymore. After a day of travel, and my only option being McDonalds . . . I made myself order a regular cheeseburger . . and thought "oh I can eat the bun on this" . . . HA . . . NOT!!!!! I nibbled 1/2 the burger down . . . and then had to stop . . . that was my limit . . . but at least I'm finally realizing I need to order the small burger . . . I don't need/can't eat a whopper . . . but my head still wants it. We just have to keep on keeping ourselves on track as much as possible. I like sitting at the table too . . . but I move all the food away from me when I'm done - or I'll start grazing . . . and I sure don't need to do that . . . we've worked too hard to get where we are . . and we're still working on it. It is just going to take time . . and more time and more time . . . :thumbup: Good to hear from you! Keep in touch! Chris
