Have you tried "skillet pizza"? Take a small skillet, spray a little coconut oil, put a thin layer of part skim mozzarella cheese. Wait for it to melt (edged should be brown) and add toppings. Let it cool so you can slide it on a plate. -

My doctor cleared me at my 1 week post op appointment. Suddenly I had a 16 year old boy to deal with smh. Ladies, don't let your man in the room when you talk to your doctor about this lol -

I had my surgery 12/30 and so far I'm great! I'm down 24 pounds and on th e pureed food. I made a mistake and had cottage cheese and also tried chili. I did well with it however, it felt really heavy in my stomach for a long time. I think I'm jumping ahead to fast and really need to stick to just pureed food. I can finally sleep on either side and on my stomach! My only issue is getting all that water in. Anyone care to share what they eat during the pureed stage? -
Dr. Bertha did my surgery. I highly reccomend him. 2 weeks post op and I feel great! He went right through my incisions from when I had my gallbladder removed which I was thrilled about! So far so good with everything. So glad I was referred to him

I finally was able to sleep on my back as I normally do and even slept on my right side last night. Finally a good night's sleep. I saw my doctor yesterday, he said nothing I will do will hurt anything. It's all about comfort and confidence, and he's right. Hope it gets better for us soon!

Hi everyone!! So my surgery was 12/30/14. I feel pretty good with the exception of my belly button. when I'm up and about its like a pulling sensation inside. I'm assuming that is normal. My only huge complaint is that the roof of my mouth (towards the back) and my throat are killing me. Did anyone experience this? Oh, and let's talk about sleeping too because I'm finding it very difficult.

I had my surgery 12/30 and have been practically been sleeping almost sitting up. I have 4 pillows plus this other thing to keep my up. I barely sleep. Sometimes I end up sliding down and getting up hurts my incision. I wish I had a recliner

I cry a couple times a day since I had my surgery on 12/30. I'm not sure if it's regrets or how bad I want pizza or maybe the fact that I had my period for my surgery. That was not fun! Well, it will pass

God I want pizza!!

I told a couple people inwas having my hernia repaired. I had a baby 17 months ago and gained a lot of weight. I used to weigh 198 and now I'm at 326. Everyone in my office knows how hard I worked to get my weight off before. So for me, it's just easier. I know people who had hernia repairs and lost a lot of weight while being at home. Frankly, it's no one's business unless you make it their business. I've learned where I work, I like to keep my business to myself. -
How Many Different Bills Did You Get?
srp2015 replied to mnmlst's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was billed over $600.00 for my blood work. I was too told that my insurance covered this procedure. I know that I will end up paying something so I'll just have to see. -
Say what!! I wish! I have been sleeping propped up since I had my surgery on 12/30. I tried to get on my side but it felt like everything was pulling. I couldn't even think of trying my stomach and I LOVE sleeping on my stomach. I'm so jealous!
