Hi all, :thumbup: I got my second fill last week 3cc the first fill didn't even work for me but! this second one did it. What's weird is that I had lot's of pain where my port is at for a week and today I noticed I no longer have the pain but I do not feel restricted like I did this past week....could that mean it leaked? I called my doctor waiting for his call back. I am worried has anyone had this happend too?:Dancing_shocked:

You are so right....here I am thinking I have no restrictions and BAM! I get food stuck I was in so much pain....My GOD! Thank you and yes I will be very careful.......LOL!!! I can only laugh at my own self.

That sounds about right...I lost 20 pounds in two weeks after my surgery, so you will lose alot more....make sure you are getting enough protien in your liquids and you should be more than fine. :clap2:

I know exactly how you feel....I got banded on November 13th 2007. At this point I have the band and I am on Jenny Craig...why? because I have no self control, I can eat, eat and eat all day long everyday. You have to find something that works for you ( diet) and stick to it, then you will see the weight just melt off.

I did the same thing! don't worry you will be fine, just eat the right foods stay away from all those foods that first got you were your at. I was banded on November 13th and have not had a fill yet. My first week to tell you the truth I was so hungry that I wanted it out but! I stuck to the diet and now I feel a lot better. I eat because I can BUT! I try to eat healthy. You will be fine........

Goodness. not looking forward to a fill. I should get my first one in January 2008. I was banded November 13th.

I was banded on November 13th and I still have pain on my left side were the port is. The first week was the worst for me BUT! it did get better. I sleep better although not yet on my sides. It does depend every person is different, just be patient.

Yeah...been there done that. It will be hard but don't get discouraged by the time you know it, you will be eating again. The two weeks after surgery were the worse for me. I was banded on November 13th, 2007.

Well that is a relief cause I was scared that would never be able to have my margaritas ever again.

I drink lots of Isopure and broth everyday...plus my Vitamins are you getting your vitamins in??? I was banded on the 13th of this month and also have pain on my left side BUT! everyday seems to be better for me. Last night I even slept on my side for a little while, I was so happy. I have to admit though my side hurts really bad to bend down , get in and out of the car, to dress....yeah but! like I said it has gotten better and I truly think it will soon be all good for me. It will get better for you it's a process we have have to go through ( not easy) but it will get better for you. Remember lots of liquids and your vitamins & Calcium and you should be fine.

I think we have all been there, don't give up...just a week ago I was so hungry I could eat a cow.....I was banded on 11/13/07 just a week ago and I have been sooooo hungry before and after my surgery. so What I did was I thought long and hard on my twenty year struggle with food and that my Lap Band was not going to perform a miracle for me. I had to make the change for myself, for my health, for my family. I also suggest you get a stronger fill I think once you are really restricted you will feel the weight come off because you will not be eating the same. I have not yet gotten a fill but I will this coming week. I am looking forward to it......

I was banded on the 13th so we close to each other...what helps me is lots of Isopure and broth.

I've noticed the same thing my stomach seems to be indented where the incision is for the port. It feels wierd and looks lopsided also. I also have pain and connot sleep on my stomach or bend down or shave my legs...yeah! can't really do anything. I hope it does get better.

I Just had mine done on the 13th of November. My port is not far below my left breastand it does seem like a good place because it is below the bra and above any waistbands. Out in the middle of nowhere...

I was banded on November 13th also and it has not been easy...being hungry all day everyday is my main problem...but! I am hanging in there. It seems it is different for everyone.

I did keep mine a secret the only people that know are my family. I did not tell anyone else and I think it was because I have failed at everything else and didn't want one more person telling me oh! you should not do this keep trying maybe your suppose to be chubby....chubby yeah ok. I just got my LapBand in on November 13th and I am not going to lie I have been very, very hungry on this liquid diet to the point where my stomach hurts so bad.... this morning and was thinking screw this I am going to eat something...before I did I got a glass of Water and decided to go on this website. I want to thank every single person on here. Not only do I understand how hard this stage is BUT! I am not the only one and IT!!! will get better. Reading all of the comments good and bad just makes me understand that losing weight is not easy on anyone and we all need support especially going through the LapBand process. I put the scale away.
